Am I right in thinking that the power of the U.S. dollar, globally, is because of it's use as the measure of oil cost?

If so, then would this news, about U.S. becoming largest oil producer, put Trump in a strong position to agree a change from the Fed Reserve backed dollar to a new one? It was suggested a few pages back that Trump has been agreeing a change.

The Rain Maker tool allowed the CIA to collect system data and specific files from a computer. The tool could be inserted onto a USB drive (or other removable media) and triggered once a user opened the portable version of VLC Media Player on the drive.

The captured data would be encrypted on the removable media, ready to be decrypted at a later time. This implies that for this exploit to work a CIA agent must be able to get physical access to the media drive. The Rain Maker User Guide says that it would work only on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, or 8.1. Although, as the guide is dated March 2015, there is the potential that Rain Maker had been extended to support Windows 10.

Two critical after substance exposure

I wonder if this is related to the powder letter to Ivanka Trump ("warning shot")?

Wiltshire Police were called on Sunday afternoon to help a man and a woman in Salisbury who were subsequently taken to the city's district hospital.

A number of locations in the city centre have been cordoned off and the A&E department at the hospital was closed on Monday morning.

A major incident has been declared at Salisbury District Hospital but neither police or the hospital have commented further.

Notice that the couple did not call an ambulance... they called the POLICE, who then took them to hospital!

ETA - There appears to be a news blackout bar the headline info. This would lead me to believe it's someone famous. Residents include; Madonna, Sting, Sir James Dyson (inventor). various nobility and rock stars.

If various areas of the city have been cordoned off then either it was tourists or residents who did not get symptoms until out shopping or something.
