It just happened again. Same number. I answered it this time and there was only static. But it was an open line, the call was definitely connected. These are the times when I wish we were all in the same room talking to each other instead of over the internet.

I know less than nothing about the various networks, but I'll tell you this.

Even though our phones are set up for 4G, in this city the towers are still mostly not upgraded. If I want a reliable signal, I have to put my data connection on 3G. Everyone else I know has theirs set to LTE or 4G, and when I hear them complaining about the crappy connectivity I tell them to try the older 3G setting. And the only reason I know this is because a guy from tech support at sprint explained it to me when I called about having serious connection issues.

So my phone is always on 3G. Like I said though...I'm technologically challenged, so I'm not sure what it all means.

Have you tried following the wives there? I'm going to go to the library tomorrow so I can do some digging on an actual computer. My laptop died last year and all I've got is this infuriating phone.

However, interesting you should say that as a UK news story arose today about Brendan Cox, husband of Jo Cox, a British member of parliament who was killed by a guy who was part of a far right group.

Anyhow, Brendan Cox worked for Save the Children and has just resigned from 2 charities, set up after his wife's death, because of allegations of being a "sex pest". When at Save The Children he allegedly assaulted a woman at Harvard University!

Since his wife's death he has had a positively good guy profile so this is quite shocking over here.

Pedophilia and sexual harassment of adults often go hand in hand. I'm starting to think that perhaps a lot of these resignations of late that are being publicly stated as due to sexual harassment might actually be far worse than that in reality.

I wonder how many of those people also have ties to children's charities like the guy in your link? Look how many child abuse cases occur within children's organizations, churches, daycares and schools. They don't get much hype, but it is in reality absolutely rampant.

Save the Children just really struck me for some reason. I could swear I've seen that same name in conjunction with a sexual harassment allegation before.
