i just can't get enough of this deep fantasy some of y'all have where trump is some kind of savior of america, trying to do good.

did he seem like such a good-hearted guy, concerned with justice, when he was running fake university scams to take money from poor people? or when he was refusing to pay his contractors? or when he was cheating on his first wife? or his second wife? or his third wife?

yea and jesus said to them, grab them by the pussy. when you're famous you can do whatever you want.

he learned all that from bill clinton by the way.

Don't forget that in the very first Republican debate in 2015, he even bragged about giving money to politicians and asking for favors from them later.

Q: You've also supported a host of other liberal policies, you've also donated to several Democratic candidates, Hillary Clinton included, Nancy Pelosi. You explained away those donations saying you did that to get business related favors. And you said recently, quote, when you give, they do whatever the hell you want them to do.

TRUMP: You better believe it... I will tell you that our system is broken. I gave to many people. Before this, before two months ago, I was a businessman. I give to everybody. When they call, I give. And you know what? When I need something from them, two years later, three years later, I call them. They are there for me. And that's a broken system.

Q: So what did you get from Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi?

TRUMP: I'll tell you what. With Hillary Clinton, I said, be at my wedding and she came to my wedding. You know why? She had no choice! Because I gave.

Donald Trump made one shockingly insightful comment during the first GOP debate

But yeah, he's the guy who'll fix the system lol.

that is incredibly relevant, because there was definitely a huge fantasy cult following of clinton that suggested he would fix everything wrong with america and put every corrupt politician in jail.

oh wait

The American voter can purge or drain the swamp. Problem is, they keep voting career politicians in office year after year or they're so party blind they''re afraid to give opposing party candidates or 3rd party candidates a chance. It's not like Trump has any authority to kick these representatives out of office!

I have a theory based on how convicted the Dems were to steal this election and the R's were a few back that they cheat and steal and agree to let each other off.

That means we may not be ABLE to vote them out if they rig it.

Some states are R and I say they cheat for the RINO's that will vote the agenda.

In the D states they cheat for the Marxist like Hillary. If they tried to cheat for a D in an R state or vice versa, we would figure this out faster. They are subtly pulling us down their path.

The best people to fix something are those who know exactly how it works AND were above it. Another politician comes in and is looking to make connections and money. He already has both.

Pandora's box of trouble is open. No one is being found "above" it because they are in it to win it once they make it that far in the power game. There are no "saints" alive to save us. Just as DJT is not my 1st choice, I have had to wonder why he has appeared to be a worthy adversary for the cabal as I think they are who would secretly attempt to control us all.

My point is that firing a few people here and there does not break the cycle. If Trump wants to break the cycle then he needs to kill the money-driven lobbyists and fantastic costs of actually being a politician. If he does not do that then you can fire as many people as you like, but it will have sod all difference.

Right now we are looking at actual criminal charges. So after we clean the criminals out we can see better.

Then by that logic, you should trust Hillary to fix the system. She's been a part of it at the State level in Arkansas, the federal level both in the Senate and in the White House, and as a civilian powerbroker. And if I'm not mistaken, her Senate district included Wall Street itself. And Trump outright admitted to giving her political money, meaning she also understands the relationship between donors and politicians.

In fact, your logic implies that the members of the "deep state" and "establishment" should be the ones to fix it, since they know exactly how the system works and they were/are "above" it. Still going with that argument?

I think if you follow the money hole we are in and digging you will see the plan. The plan all along was bankrupt the USA and give the money away to barbaric people who hate other peoples freedoms. Funding wars on purpose. By taking our assets and corrupting our morals they can cripple our ability to stop world leaders from tyranny. We could think of it as the return for their investment of our money.

We can't be beat on a battlefield when the chips are down. In a way we are like Sampson and therefore our enemies are sending us Delilah. Our System empowers it's citizens and thus empowers our military so they go after the citizens.

ETA
Go after them to be theirtools.

Then victims if history repeats itself?

The best way to destroy the capitalist system is to debauch the currency. Vladimir Illyich Lenin

Money affects our lives far more than government. The 20th century was basically an experiment in fiat currencies which governments can create by accounting entries (debt).

This allows the government to grow way beyond it's usefulness and introduces all sorts of immorality in the system since our money is based on debt it's an anticipation of the future, so when the debt grows the government lies about the future in order to justify the increase of the public debt.

But most debt is used for consumption not tangible assets that can aid in productivity. So the future ends up enslaved to what has been eaten in the past, it's parasitic.

You have to start with the money, then the rest of the economy and the government follows course. You won't fix anything with a debt based fiat currency system. You just have to wait until it destroys itself and then rebuild.

All we need now is the Ron Paul theory trotted back out. I think he was right to say the Fiat system is basically always going to fail. It is a pyramid scheme for the elite who use the profits to buy up the good stuff. They become oligarchs using their power to decide the future in their favor. This US system was set up to prevent that. For all the bad associated with Andrew Jackson over the natives he saw the wisdom of keeping the European banks from controlling our money as Hamilton was all up in with the Rothchild's.

www.businessinsider.com...

That begs the question, are hidden ruling oligarchs controlling the money and power by family lines the abomination of desolation?

ETA, probably not but they are not right and we need to understand how to rid ourselves of this foul bane.

So you're agreeing that we should reelect incumbents, insiders, members of the "deep state", and others like Hillary? Surely they know the system better than the rest of us do and thus would be the only ones truly qualified to fix it.

If you really believe that, then your own OP is wrong because we'd theoretically need the same corrupt Washington employees to fix the problems that they're being prosecuted for creating. (That's a bit of a run-on sentence but I think you get the point.)

I feel like people are trying to have it both ways on this. It's like people are saying that insiders are supposedly bad so they need to be replaced. But only insiders are qualified to determine who's actually bad and how to fix the system. Therefore we'll choose insiders to purge the other insiders & then "our" insiders will fix the system that the "other" insiders created (even though "our" insiders openly admit to benefiting from that otherwise corrupt system). But somehow that's different from dictatorships and overtly corrupt regimes where only insiders are allowed to get powerful positions in the first place.

If that's all it took then our government would be amazing. That's not the case. Once elected they work to line their pockets and ensure they will be set for life. Why can we stagger the terms into different sections so we don't lose all at one time but have some that will entering a second term while the others leave. Always ensuring it's not just newbies?

That's how the Senate works (and most if not all State Senates). Every 2 years, 1/3 of them are up for reelection.

Trump is the closest thing we've had to a middle of the road President in my lifetime.

The real problem is how can you negotiate with and meet someone in the middle who refuses to step anywhere remotely near the middle? I'm talking about Schumer and Pelosi and most of the elected Democrat officials.

I've said this a thousand times and keep getting laughed at.

I truly believe if people keep fighting Trump just for Trump he is the closest thing to center we have seen in a long time. Sadly many are reacting by pulling further left of center or further right of center just to be against him.

This is our chance to finally find a happy medium, a middle ground that all could stand on if they weren't so dead set against Trump.

Perfect! The groundwork has been laid, let's start working with our voting power!
