In Kansas Anyone Can Run For Governor...Anyone.

Actually ....looks like we've got a Planet of the Apes scenario unfolding here. Apes rule.

Vote for me and I will decree a new holiday.
"Pancake Day." In honor of the flattest state.
I am considering Joe Walsh day.
I haven't spoken to Joe about this.
Maybe we can discuss it over pancakes when I am governor.

I dont understand this post ? Anyone can run for any office even President as a writh in vote ??
or have they changed that ? I dont see how they could as the states are all about ANY ONE being able to run for any position ?

The problem is that the law in Kansas regarding this doesn't list ANY requirements or restrictions as to who can run or cannot run. Legally and literally meaning any one can run. I guess it had not been a problem before until this year when a number of teenagers who aren't even old enough to vote for themselves decided to run...hence the reason why they've decided to change it.
