As someone who runs an ISP and is all about 5G, your post is tremendously cute. Ignorant to the core, but cute.

FYI, satellite will never ever play any part in 5, 6, or 7g networks. It is unreliable, slow, easily interfered with and overall a waste of time.

Even so, one day they will get there. The BRAINCHIPS are already here and in the heads of Alzheimer's patients.

www.telegraph.co.uk...

A brain ‘pacemaker’ for Alzheimer's disease is helping patients to dress themselves, cook and keep up hobbies which they feared losing forever. In a medical first, surgeons in the US implanted electrical wires into the frontal lobes of three people to stimulate their brain cells in the same way that a pacemaker regulates electrical activity in the heart. All three study participants showed improvement, including LaVonne Moore, 85, of Delaware, Ohio, who was unable to cook meals or dress herself without help before the implant.

Oh my, how much of their thinking is them now and how much machine? The leaps in technology to mind interfacing are profound. If they can do what they do already it is only a matter of time before we can access the whole of the internet by thought through a chip. They may even be able to make biological chips that link biologically instead of wires. If the brain through nature can do it then it is possible, is it not. Neurons could link to a wifi interface. We could download information at the speed of a the latest wifi transfer rate. If Quantum computing succeeds we will be in crazy land then for sure.

Brave New Hell. I love stuff like this. It is real horror movie territory. I wish we would learn to master it, but it will master and seduce us unfortunately. It already is doing.

im sure the FBI and CIA already use the technology to take a picture of anyone and get a profile.
there's cameras everywhere your picture is in some data somewhere when the new phones finely hit the streets you will be able to point your phone at someone next to you and get a personal profile.
Personalization is one of the key features of the future Internet.

Brainchips - No, they are not, and never will be.

There is no "Mind interfacing tech" - That's a pipedream

Your brain does not operate at the frequency of 2.4 or 5ghz. If it did, your microwave or Wi-Fi router would give you a stroke instantly.

You may love this stuff, but it's not from a standpoint of knowledge, but pure speculation and assertions not based in reality.

All they have to do is check your debit/credit card use in a store. They get the store CCTV via online, find the time of your visit to the shop and have multi angle video footage of you. They could look at some garbage you leave on the strret, find the locations it went through on the data base to when it was sold and who purchased it at what time, then check the CCTV. It's easy.

There are no pictures of me online as I have made sure of that. I bet they could get an up to date one of me any time they like. They already have the driving license and passport shots any how.

There is good and bad to all this. Only when it takes away our identity does it become evil. If it helps to a point we can use it. Sad that we do not know when to stop.

The FBI and CIA are comprised of the same Fail Hards as everywhere else. They are no smarter than you or I. The latest news rounds should show you that pretty well and remove any doubt.

Of course it is an implant. It is not an interface. I never said that. Watch the video and stop being so ignoring of what is being put before you. This is all predicting. No, they could not do that with Alzheimers patients in the 50s. Now you go and get proof of them being able to use a brain implant to help a person regain the ability to do basic tasks from the 1950s. They had their experiments, but they never had a brain pacemaker. Where is that?

The implants were placed in the part of the brain responsible for executive and cognitive functions such as planning, problem solving and judgement. A battery pack in the chest sends electrical currents through the wires in a process called deep brain stimulation.

If you can show me I will believe it.

In that video they wirelessly were able to get a monkey with a severed spine to walk again. They are using chips in monkey heads. Lol, soon they will do the same to the other monkeys. You know THEY want to. They will love doing it. They are already in everyone's heads anyway. It is the precursor.

The interfacoing will happen I have no doubt. People will lose themselvres in technology. They will no longer have an organic personality they will go so far. It is not now, but the technology is being developed. Watch the video. It is real. It is very informative.

So ATS.... Something to worry about? Worried for nothing? One thing is certain... We wont stop any of this. It's going to come whether we want it or not.

OK. We won't stop any of this. I agree. So what's your point? Live in fear? Worry that some potential employer might find out your true lying, devious nature on Facebook?

"Privacy" is a recent invention, and the idea that it is a "right" would be incomprehensible to previous generations. The EU "right to be forgotten" would be an alien concept. So yeah, if you're an idiot on Facebook an employer might find out. Since you, OP, are in a supervisory position would you like to know if one of your subordinates is a lying cheating, malcontent likely to cause you grief? Or is his "right to privacy" such that you should not be allowed to know?

I believe we will not be able to stop it if we wanted. Money vs Average + Poor = Money trumps all. I'm not saying to live in fear. I'm saying, be aware. If I can't stop something like this from coming, I would like to be fully aware of it so I can know what my options are.

I'm an Engineer and a Troubleshooter. That means... If something is broken, I fix it. If something cant be done, I find a way to make it happen. If you tell me I can't, I will show you that I can. If I don't have the tools, I make the tools.

The same applies in this scenario. If I know it's coming, I'll know how to better protect myself should I need to.

Our constitution gave us our rights to privacy. Somewhere along the way, someone forgot about that and let our freedoms dwindle so much that it's just a dirt covered snowball going down hill. Simply due to people just accepting it the way it is, as in your own words. As a people, we can regulate but for some reason we don't bother to do even that as a country.

Money wins every time. I can at least be prepared and others can as well.

You are not understanding the subject. What is a digital signal? It is an on off signal. It is an electrical signal. I am not saying what you are saying I am saying. You can not read properly. Read the words properly. I am not saying they put chips in people's heads right now, but Elon is doing work on it. Check the videos. If you do not watcvh them you will not know. THEY ARE USING CHIPS IN MONKEYS RIGHT NOW, very advanced ones.

In Sillicon Valley they ARE doing it with monkeys. If they can do it with them they will be able to do it with us.

Sorry, I am a bit stoned. Let me recap: They are using PACEMAKERS in patients. They are using CHIPS in monkeys. I may have used the word chip instead of pacemaker so sorry for the confusion. Listen to the Silicon Valley guy. They really can do all that with the monkeys.

Yes, in the Alzheimers patients they are using pacemakers to restore congnitive functions in the brain. Digital is electrical. They will be able to do this to humans and beyond. They are already doing it with monkeys.

Throw in quantum networks (like the one China is making strides in), a recent breakthrough in quantum memory and the scientists in Australia who proposed a million qubit self correcting chip (made using silicon and current technology) and we are fast approaching an age of quantum supremacy. Talk about some serious predictive computing and no lag between entangled particles makes for practically instantaneous information transfer. Fun times are ahead.

Follow the yellow brick road, my friend. Notice all the similarities in just who is an active part in all of these 'great strides' as of late. I noticed that Dr. Ben Goertzel has a big influence in China with his technology at this time.

There is no need to get nasty. Electricity is electricity whether it be analogue or digital.

Were you personally insulting me there or everybody else, too? There is no need for that. Don't attack the subject so until you have fully understood the OP's sources and what they have written and the commentary from others.

The CHIPS are real. They are really here. Surely you know that. The technology will grow and there is every possibility it will seduce us.

My posts are not so ingorant that I warn powerful people to destroy Bitcoin. Have you noticed what has happened to Bitcoin the last few days. Read what I wrote about that.

I play my hand very carefully and crazily, quite deliberately. I flutter my eyelashes and say Oh I am just a silly clown, but might I also be passing on messages sometimes, too? You have to look hard at what I write. Look how much I contribute. It is because my mind is very active. Stop being so mean about ATS members. They are imagining scenarios as I do. This is an excellent speculative thread that encourages insight and debate. Don't ruin it with all this silliness.

Also, your quoting has gone up the spout. It is confusing the thread. I am not able to quote you because it has gotten into too much of a mess.

Blimey, the weed is strong this evening, lol.

I better take a break, haha.

Don't be mean to me. You offended my tin foil hat's feelings now and dented its pride.

Following my posts just to shill on them huh? If you know anything about ISPs and networks, you really should get more information on your profession. I used to RUN and ISP back in the 56k days. A whole ISP by my lonesome.... Don't tell me about networks, especially since right now, I work on Sats and SAS's and the networks involved for a major multinational oil company. There is nothing you can tell me about how 'any of this works'. It's what I do for a living. You're not talking to a school kid.
