For the Ladies: Women Soul Singers

I appreciate the word "soul" to describe a certain type of music. This type of music speaks to the depths of my being, and to me is the very opposite of the bubble gum pop dominating the scene today.

After spending all weekend listening to Candi Staton, I decided to create a thread dedicated solely to the ladies of soul. Spread the word
