Indeed, we are not as free as we think we are, but we have the perception of having total freedom.
But name me a western democracy that has over a hundred thousand political opponent's who were arrested and thrown in jail on trumped up charges during a government crack down and purge, ranging from everyone from military personnel from top to bottom, to teachers, doctors, nurses, journalists, professors, etc.....

Kicking out a NATO member? easy. defund them(remove their cut) and dont give them any money anymore. its not literally kicking them out but it does the same job.

Turkey is not a Western Democracy .


Turks decided that Western Democracy is not to their liking and they may want to try a bit of Presidential non aligned Democracy .

Turks always had been ruled by Kingdom .

Western Democracy Alignment got Turks 4 coups in 40 years , all from Americans and all with Europeans being complicit with prior knowledge , including Soviets .



The area we are currently talking about ; Afrin was ruled by Turks/Circassians for last 1000 years , like all the other parts of Mesopatamia .

the U S pays alot. and defunding Turkey wont be exspensive. you just do not include them in any future business and ignore them. eventually they will leave on their own. NATO doctrine never had DOnald trump as president either. Hes as crazy as erodogen.

Those weapons will be turned on Turkey in the near future.
The weapons Turkey claims as indigenous but are only possible with Western or South Korean assistance and support, not to mention components and software, will suddenly become less then effective.
