FISA can be used against US citizens if they are deemed to be "an agent of a foreign power".

However, I did find this quote from an Obama spokesman in response to Trump's claims that Trump Tower was wire-tapped:

This needs to be properly and thoroughly investigated.

What that doesn't say though is whether the Obama administration suggested an investigation be started by the DOJ. Some things don't have to be said if the reasoning for the investigation is obvious.

Wonder if they could state that adding in CIA and NSA instead of solely DoJ....or even state that they did not direct any foreign intelligence agency to conduct surveillance on an American citizen....

For what it is worth. Yesterday was in fact a day of "what the hell...?" for many. If you take a quick cruise through the recent post board you'll see a few changes. One, the tone is different then it has been for the last 6 years. Two, there are new posters, GA, who are not only verifying things but are welcomed - you know how odd that is. Freedom day was no joke, the memo is only the notice to the little people that the storm is coming. Save your energy, observe, take solace in the fact that it is clear to the Q followers the swamp has a major plumbing problem.

Lastly, forget lawful recourse, this system was set up by them to protect themselves and punish you. To demand, or even expect, that any of these folks go through a 3 year trial at your expense is not where the energy is most helpful, if we expend our energy here, at this point in the process, we are too early. Hold the line that we have had enough, time to move on...

I suggest getting on twitter and visiting @CNN. Give them a piece of your mind. Call them out, simply on BIAS and how that's not journalism or REAL NEWS simply because the reporting has a political axe to grind against the duly elected POTUS.

They are not fair and balanced, and neither are they even hinting that this is evidence of corruption and a blatant violation of the integrity of the US Democratic election process by certain "leaders" operating in bad faith.

Visit @Comey too where the tweet storm is raging.

What's nice about CNN, is how little traffic there is on it, and thus, replies number in the 10's and not the 1000's, so it gets in their face.

This memo is no smoking gun even though it is based off of *the* smoking gun for the whole Mueller investigation.

So it either is a smoking gun or it's not.

Still trying to convince people that a heavily biased person produced accurate info that the FBI then felt they had to lie about the source entirely to get their warrent ... but that's not important ... what is important is that they managed to bilk the court *3* times! That's what you need to know. The court fell for it *3* times, and that should tell you something ...

And pay no attention to what's in it ... only whether or not Trump fires Mueller or anyone else. That's all you should care about.

Remember, Steele leaked the original Papadopoulos thing to the press to bolster the credibility of his own dossier and get the second corroborating story circulating.

Good ole Papa had very little of anything to do with the campaign ... far less than Page.

Personally, I LOVELOVELOVE that the Roths are actually feeling the need (Read: forced) to come out from behind their curtains and get their own hands dirty.

That's desperation.

It turns out the Senate Judiciary Committee also has a memo on Christopher Steele, the FBI and Russia dossier they are working to declassify. Their memo is set to be released including FBI redactions shortly. Paul Sperry of the New York Post reported, “BREAKING: The Senate Judiciary Committee also has a memo on Steele, the dossier and the FBI, and is working to get it declassified.”

Is the SJC higher in the hierrarchy as the HPSIC?

They're supposed to be co-equal chambers, but the Senate is generally assigned more gravitas because it has longer terms.

Thank you that's what i thought. I bet the MSM are already regretting asking for more documents. The Deep State can't even object to this because they themselves stated that the memo is incomplete. Nunes,Gowdy and their team set up a trap and of coure they fell for it.
