appolopgies - i did not make this thread earlier - but laziness meant i didnt actually read the full version at hi-res - i just squinted at a JPEG

but now i have read it :

who the fook is " micheal steele " ????????????????????

its not a trick question , from the alledged letter :

former MI5 agent micheal steele

the authour of the " trump collusion " dossier = christopher steele and he was former MI6

so - the killer question - who is micheal steele ????????????????

its a pretty dammin mistake to make - when the alledged author of this " letter " - is supposed to be the oxford educated director of GCHQ

but as i said in a previous thread - its my opinion that the letter was written by an american

[1] being logical - if its not a hoax : has the letter just " outed " micheal steele as a british inteligence operative ?

hint - the above sentence is a pristake " devilis advocate " inclusion

its my opinion that the letter is a hoax - and my prime evidence = :

" micheal steele ex MI5 agent "

Hoax. The signature was clearly lifted from Robert Hannigan's resignation letter. Here's a side-by-side comparison:

Doesn't matter if it's a hoax though, plenty of people will have read this story when it broke and believed it.

i do say - it shouldnt need saying - but there are multiple threads on this idiocy

and its wingnuts with " selective dumbfoundedness " that propegate this crap

it doesnt seem to matter how batcrap crazy a claim is - there are idiots who believe it

and someone always whines " it hasnt been debunked yet "

sometimes - you are dammed what ever you do

ETA - the origional thread was sent to hoax bin - with zero explaination - which i believe is part of the problem

Would you use a signature stamp on your letter of resignation to the Foreign Secretary??

I don’t think many people would

Good point, but it is not out of the realm of possibility.

Good question. Could be a drop name for the anonymous characteristics which seem to float around the spy industry.
Where did you get the name Michael Steele from anyway? It is closely related to Christopher Steele. Maybe a first name? I don't know.

It's the name in the letter referenced by the OP. Should be Christopher Steele...instead it says 'Michael Steele.'

Hmmm. An error? Okay now. This is a question that needs to be answered.

I found this on Michael Steele.

http:// www.nytimes.com...

It was last spring when Karl Rove called Michael Steele, the lieutenant governor of Maryland, to sell him on running for the Senate, and to close the deal, Rove paused to put President Bush on the phone. As Steele recalls it, the president's adviser said, "Here, the boss wants to talk to you." Steele froze, then demurred. "I went, 'No, no thank you.' I was so stunned that he was going to hand the phone to the president. I said, 'That's all right, we'll have that call later.' I couldn't believe it." Other top Republicans called. Senator Elizabeth Dole. Ken Mehlman, the party chairman. One day Steele's cellphone rang, and Vice President Dick Cheney was on the other end

So this guy has Bush's ear. Michael Steele is a placed pawn of the established republican never Trump party. It would not be hard to imagine that he would have something to do with this. This is getting very intriguing, and since Bush voted for Clinton, he had Obama's ear, which would bring us to this little mystery we are discussing.

Someone else claimed that it could be an electronic signature, which might be closer to the explanation.
