Why is everyone blaming DEMS when Ryan and McConnell didnt even put forward a bill that eve gets all GOP support let alone DEM support?

Because the Dems were handed no less than four things they specifically asked for and nothing they didn’t want...and then voted no for the items they specifically asked for...

There is zero reason not to work out DACA separately, especially since there are literally months before any deportations of Dreamers could happen.

The Dems just don’t want chain migration to end...and thus lose a huge part of their base...

So its the DEMS fault that the McConnell and Rayn are using these things as hostages to try to force through bad legislation?

Using what things as hostages? The items they (the Dem) specifically asked for snd now won’t vote for? Pretty sure this will fall on the Dems...who are quickly losing any momentum they were gaining going into the mid terms. No wonder they lost 1k seats under President Obama.

Isn't authoritarianism great?

No.
Why would the Democrats make this happen?

Is the OP a democrat? I was referring to what he wants to do.

The OP proposed it as possible because of the government shutdown.
I guess you didn't get that.

No. The OP did not say it was possible. They stated what the president could do and their approval for such actions.

The title of the thread is, literally, "Time to weaponize the Democratic Schumer Shutdown".

That doesn't sound like discussing possibilities to me.

Sigh
You are wrong again( don't you ever get tired of being wrong?).
Punctuation marks are not displayed in the title of the OP. So a question mark would not be displayed.

Incorrect. There is a period at the end of your OP's title.

And if your OP was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, perhaps a bit of a warning is in order.

“Honesty” and “dems” don’t belong in the same sentence unless your pointing out they have none.

Their honesty was lost long before Shumer said that in 2013.

Nonetheless it’s fun to reminisce and laugh.

I fear you are correct, after the 2016 elections how could
I ever forget? The DNC leaks, The rigging, The Podesta leaks,
Agh I can't relive it!!

The budget bill that they cant even get all the GOP on board with passing. It is so bad that they pushed through a partisan bill their own people dont like and needs DNC support to get passed and they did it at the last possible minute to try to force people to vote for it.

Wonder if he supports the DNC bill that does this exact thing for the whole senate or if he is just trying to pander.

I've been reading that sentence for a year now here on this site. Has ANYTHING changed?

No, except that maybe these a-holes have become even more bold in their crimes and lies and propaganda, and We the People keep taking it. We let them lead us from this to that to this to that and never are any of them held accountable. And in the process, we've let them whip us all up into fighting with each other, "left" vs. "right." Just read the political threads on this site. We are AWFUL to one another!

I don't know how to stop these aholes but I know that if we started yelling at them instead of each other, it would be a start.

Sorry for the rant. I just wish I had a buck for every time I've read "they will be exposed/brought to justice/etc etc soon."

You mean "she", I suspect.
I don't know what else she supports...but she deserves a bit o' credit for doing this...Wouldn't you agree?

Its all talk untill she does. But if she does follow through great. Now if only she would do something useful and get McConnell to actually do his job.

If they don't include it now it will be dropped in the future. It's another accomplishment of Obama's that trump needs to undo to feel safe in his manhood. So they won't ever include it. It's now or never. What's the problem when they gave him money for the stupid wall?
Because he has no intentions of ever addressing it.

Hmmm, seems rather than kicking the can down the road maybe they should produce some actual legislation for DACA? You know, instead of just 'having a pen and a phone' to legislate?

Liberal this, liberal that. Must be nice shoehorning millions of people into your version of a "basket of deplorables".

Must be nice for liberals to always defend illegal immigrants mostly from Mexico and other parts of south America who are very left wing, yet the same liberals have been working overtime to not allow illegal immigrants who lean to the right because they have lived in the hell hole that socialism/communism creates...

Where was your complaining about Mexico deporting hundreds of Cubans back to Cuba?... Where is your complaining about the fact that Mexico deports all illegal immigrants they catch?... Of course you and liberals in general do not protest these facts...

As for the "basket of deplorables", it was your evil witch Shillary who made such comments. Not to mention the comments and insults she made about Hispanics which came to light from the emails in DNC leaks...

The only power the Democrats have is to maintain deliberation of the Senate Bill by preventing a successful cloture vote. Basically, it takes 60 Senators to tell everyone to "shut up and vote." Once you pass cloture, it only takes 51 votes to pass the Bill. The Dems are going to block Bills like this from now until 2018. Maybe 2020?

Just in case you are curious, here are the major departments that shut down.

Commerce, except National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Education
Energy (Functions that oversee the safety of the nation's nuclear arsenal, dams and transmission lines remain open)
Environmental Protection Agency
Food and Drug Administration
Health and Human Services
Housing and Urban Development
Interior, including National Parks (The Department of Interior announced on January 19, 2018, that parks will remain open despite a shutdown)
Internal Revenue Service
Labor, including Bureau of Labor Statistics
NASA
National Institute of Health
Smithsonian

YEE HAW! Let the round up begin!

# ya!

Isn't authoritarianism great?

Let's round people up, give em numbers (perhaps barcodes...this is 2018 after all), put em on trains and ship em off to detention facilities until we figure out what to do with them.

What could go wrong?

It is almost as if the Previous Presidents should have addressed the issue with the seriousness with which the dems are taking it now. Nice moral high ground political maneuver though.

At least have the stones to own your comments and not come up with limp-twisted attempts to make them seem less extreme.

That Schumer gets on my nerves, we get it you like sex and you are starting to sound like a broken record.

Sorry I thought you meant Amy Schumer, as for the other well...deporting these 'dreamers' would be a logistical nightmare and would not be a fun job, unless you enjoy shattering lives and sending them back to their cartel ridden country.

Survival of the fittest.
