Seems to be, and if you are a christian, they they will challenge you faith if the issue comes up. If not they seem to pretty good people, they have their mason thing.

I assume the Original Poster means somethign like 'i know that there are freemasons on this forum, and kts and all, because of all the talk from and about them, but what else is here?"

Is this accurate? THe original message was very poorly constructed.

Anyway, I think that there are a few other secret societies here, but why would anyone want to discuss, say, the Woodsmen, or the Elks? THey're not 'conspiracy worthy'. So it sticks to mason, templars, and supposed 'illuminati' and the like.

BTW, what Knights Templar are on this board?

Both Masonic Light and Senrak are Masonic KT's, other than that I'm not sure.

I don't think we have any members of SMOTJ here or anything though.

And a past Golden Dawn member.

I am yet to see the ATS Skull & Bones roll call.

And getting too close to the Bilderbergs can be hazardous for your ATS health.

And I think some consider the Jesuits and the Knight of Columbus conspiratorial.
Maybe the Trilaterals

I very recently sent for the first lessons of B.O.T.A.

Still haven't gotten them yet, but I look forward to studying the material.

Axeman, I am slowly working my way through B.O.T.A. lessons. And, still a novice. I'm quite pleased with what I'm learning.
You'll be happy with your studies, I'm sure.

I second that emotion, I have found BOTA to be extremely satisfying. They invite members to pronaos meetings but so far the closest one I have found is in Ohio. Thats a long way from Georgia, I couldn't possibly justify going that far.

Have you been fortunate enough to attend one of these meetings DontTreadOnMe?

*sheepish look*
I live close enough to Detroit that it could be relatively easy for me to attend. I'm just not much of a people person...maybe someday.

There is one in Dallas, so that's really close to where I am. I'm planning on checking it out once I get the required lessons completed.

Yeah me either but I'm getting better. I'm having to learn to listen more than think so I know what the jack someone is even talking about.

Axeman you got the old lluminated CP-3O like photo back out dude. Way cool. I imagine they probably burn some incense and do some kind of neophyte ritual of some sort. I really have no clue though thats just a guess. I wish there was one closer but there is not. ML told me I might need to be the guru in this area one day. I'm really enjoying the study thats for sure. The course definitely has some mind awakening substance to it.

Yeah that's an Alex Grey painting. He does some really amazing artwork. I think he had a little too much acid in his day though... Artistic inspiration through ingestion of hallucinogens. What a concept. Great work, though. www.alexgrey.com...

So yeah I'm really looking forward to getting started. It's a pretty long course from what I understand, it takes what, 2-3 years at least to finish the curriculum? ML is the one who turned me onto it as well. When I asked him about studying Kaballah he said that in his opinion, BOTA was the best, so I checked it out a little more, decided to go for it, (I was going to wait until after my Degrees were done but I have 5 months left to wait anyway, so what the hell) and now I'm just waiting. I like the idea of working at my own pace at home. There is a

Axeman, I wonder how many new member B.O.T.A. has gotten through the information ML has given here at ATS?
I know it's at least a half dozen.
It's a wonderful course. Much more detailed then I had envisioned.

There's no telling. That man is a veritable bottomless pit of knowledge. I, for one, and truly grateful to have him here and available for me to pick his brain. Sometimes I think he must get tired of the barrage of questions but he is always as helpful as he could be.

We're lucky to have him here, IMHO.

Might as well throw in my 2 cents worth on B.O.T.A.

The best thing about it is the lessons on the Tarot. I think they are missing out on quite a bit with Case's dislike of Enochian.

Something to keep in mind B.O.T.A.'s Kaballah (like all western hermetic groups) is not quite the same as traditional Jewish Kaballah. Oh for a FYI if you spell it Qabalah in a web search you will better results if you looking for the western hermetic form.
