It is actually a nice day for us. Bit on the warm side though.

Beaches are packed!

I only exist in either white skin tones ... or red.

Since I intensely dislike getting sunburned, I stay clear of the beach.

I also miss all of the bikinis. Just to keep up with fashion trends you understand.

Wow, I was feeling down a good part of the day myself. Feeling much better now though.

I miss people when they aren't here. I don't know if I should worry or not, but usually it means something is wrong so I get concerned. So glad you guys showed up finally!

Very dry today. At my daughter's place (Adelaide suburb) this afternoon it peaked at 43C and only 10% humidity; now (7.15 pm) it's dropped to only 39.6 C (woot!) , but it's still same humidity. PS: my first post on a smart phone!

These new fangled phones can be intimidating !

At xmas we travelled to Sydney and at Hornsby it was 43c. Luckily a storm helped it drop 12 deg. In a flash.

This was a couple of years ago, but ....

Not sure if this song was posted by a Sheddite earlier ( maybe where I got it from. ? )... none the less it’s worth a repeat. Dedicated to all those souls who may need a little encouragement .

LOL! I knew it! That is way too hot for me! I remember some Summer's where it was so hot I thought I could fry an egg on the sidewalk. Always thought that surely it would cook!

We have some Summer days where the heat and humidity are so bad, people are advised to stay in because of poor air quality and busses run free if you need to get somewhere and don't have a car. People would take off to the ocean for the day.


I find it to be like some kind of torture if I'm out for any length of time without a pool or body of water to cool off in. Man, I don't know how some people handle it. My friend Linda who takes me out every week can't stand Winters and I can't stand Summers. LOL I only love it when it is warm and a little hot...after that I'm dying.

I was very sad to read about her today. Such a Damdable thing, Cancer.

I hope the hospice care made her transition as easy as possible. One of my sisters is a hospice nurse, and the ones I've met are some kind of special people, with hearts bigger than the universe.


May she have her every wish, if she has to come back again.
