First we had the "Beast from the East", (very cold) then the second "Beast from the East" a week ago and now it's 20 deg C! The change in temperature was too quick and my old bones don't like things that change too quickly. I am not a fan of the sun. If it's 29 C outside I wear full but light clothing. Long-sleeved shirt, jeans, socks and shoes or, socks and sandals. No bare skin!

Hi Night, how ya doing? Have you managed to give that cold/flu away (to someone else maybe?) yet? Cool video of Mark too! Witz End, good name for a band.

Hi Light! I still feel weak and have no energy. Just feeling blah.

Some years after Mark's band dispersed, another band formed with the same name and spelling.

Our weather is usually crazy and we go from cold right into too warm, too fast. That will be in May. It usually is.

How are you today Hun? I'm sure you are anxious to get out of that place and into somewhere new. At least you have something to look forward to. Hopefully your new neighbors will be awesome this time around.

This is why I wear clothes in the sun. I never use sunblock (it's expensive and according to some conspiracy theorists full of harmful chemicals) and don't like feeling sticky all day. Besides, my body is best left covered. Nobody needs to see it. In other hot countries they also wear long but light clothing. India, Pakistan, for example. Some of it costs 10-20 bucks a bottle. I cannot and will not pay that.

Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the mid-day sun... (an old song)

I'm keeping calm. All of a sudden we now have mice in the building (I may have mentioned that already) and I notice that one resident at least appears to be a druggy, or has druggy friends. (I'm guessing amphetamine or MDMA on possibly more than a casual basis) They cause no problems as of yet but I think now might be a good time to leave here and let the rest get on with it. I don't judge but do file information for later.

The Saudi's do the white robes and headgear well.

They always look cool against a hot desert backdrop.

Mice are cute and all, but not when they are invading property. Nasty! That building could get shut down if they don't start taking care of the place.

I love warm weather and cool soothing weather, but once we hit the high temps and humidity I cannot tolerate that! Ten to twenty bucks for sunscreen? That is insane!

I'm game.

A (Christian name) will make the best boyfriend/guyfriend ever. With their big brown eyes, and heart-melting smile it's hard not to fall for them. They are different, in a beautiful way. Possesses a very funny, odd sense of humor. They are there when you need them, and they value their friendships. They like to look good, and dress well. Handsome, and charming. They've had a hard life, but never gets kicked down and stays down. They change for the better, and stronger than ever. Very successful at life, make great Dads. Known to be players but when they meet that special girl, their sold. (Christian name)'s come off as tough and solid, but deep down, their soft side comes out and you see the sweet gentleman in them. They're not popular, but not a loner either. Friends love them, and guys want to be him. They have a really laid back attitude about themselves, but at the same time they can be the life of the party. Even though they can be a jerk at times, they mean well and are really the nicest guys ever. If you have a (Christian name), don't let him go. None other compares.

Some truth I guess. But my eyes are blue or at least they used to be. I haven't been successful at life and I am not a father although I did want to be back in the day. I am indeed not popular but I am a loner although that is probably due to circumstances rather than intent. I am my own critic and I am honest with myself, sometimes brutally so. As for being a jerk, well, I guess we all have our moments LOL I am very different though, that much is true. I've never met anyone quite like me. This is probably a good thing.

Smith

An old English Family name.

The name is a symbol of craftsmanship, skill, beauty and general Badassery. There has never been non badass Smith and they are the sexiest people you will ever meet. They are loyal, strong and they will always protect each other.

Who writes this stuff? ROFL Sexy? Me??? I'll go with loyal though, born in the year of the dog. Woof!

"What's that Lassie, there's been an explosion at the plant and people are bleeding, burning, dying and/or in need of immediate medical assistance?"

"Woof!"

Looks like you can now be the Shed's sexy non-blue eye dad then.

If you go to the site there is a large search bar at the top, type a name in (real name, you don't need to post it here if you don't want) and then it gives a result.

Say your name is Sue, you will get this result:

www.urbandictionary.com...

My name, Matthew, apparently means a gift from God, but not on Urban Dictionary. My parents gave me that name because I wasn't supposed to be. (Mum was disabled and the doctors had already told her that a second pregnancy could be dangerous to her life due to her Muscular Dystrophy.) Accidents happen.

Isn't it adorable.
I have been a little reclusive, that stupid job causes me to not want to interact with people at all. But it is conveniently close so who am I to complain.
People there aren't very, shall we say, friendly. I have made a point of in my time there of greeting every co-worker and superior with a hello and a smile and when I have time a "How are you today".
Some times in an obviously provocative attempt.
It has changed every ones attitude. (Except for one person, my nemisis and my intollerable manager) Now every one smiles and greets me. I hope they offer each other the same courtesy.

They are very cut throat too. Each person for himself. Well when my co-worker in the kitchen who doesn't have family or other ties to the area lost her vehichle I told her I would taxi her until she could afford something else.
The others have now been pitching in.
I have paid some of them to take her home, but my hope is it catches on.

It did bother me today when I picked her up that she bought beer, because she says she can't pay me.
Yes I am tooting my own horn here, but it feels good to do something ever so small, that is counter cultural. I don't want to be like them just to be part of a group.
I would loose my integrity.

Yes me.
I am battleing it because I can't afford to loose a single day and if I do only one person out of three can work because I am driveing my co-worker.
I feel like S##T.

Oh... That beer thing would have seriously bothered me too. Not if she bought food, or even cigarettes. Cigarettes are not (yet) super expensive and usually if someone smokes, it is better to let him/her have a smoke to prevent whining. But beer? Come on...

Glad to see you are making a positive impact. It is easy be cheerful when everyone around you is cheerful, but to start that effort in an emotionally cold environment, well, it practically needs leadership and emotional skills. Very cool from you!
