Is your Dad a " people of walmart " ?

Hope you feel better soon!

Hot lemon and honey will help. 😷

Dad is a people of the grocery store, however. He doesn't go Walmarts has he can easily get lost in one.
Lemon and honey would help, if I had any that is. Thanks.

Also - if it's a cold or sinus infection you're looking at - can't stress how helpful chowing down decent hot indian curries are, Clears you out in no time! Managed to knock one on the head last year within a couple of days because I had scheduled surgery and I wasn't going to miss it for anything!

Thank you for the suggestion Auroraaus. I never thought about that. Sadly I have no way to come across and hot indian curry being stuck at home as I am. Looks like I will be getting by with a cup of coffee every now and then.

Aldi have a good jal frezi with a spice cap.

Not as good as making / building your curry from scratch, not bad for a quick and easy though. ☺

Hot chocolate with a hint of chilli might work too. I don't like hot chocolate so can't say I've tried it. I just like chilli.

LookingForABetterLife : HA! Your Da sounds like me, I've been to Walmart before, and the US K-mart - very very easy to do. Also got a bit lost once at JC Penney too.

See if you can in future have a stash in your pantry. If you got any sort of spicy stuff in there at the moment, ingest! Even jalapenos or some sort of chilli would help! Burn the bugs out! Clear your airways! If you are sensitive to hot stuff, make sure you have plenty of toilet rolls

Timely - I hope it doesn't disappoint. The Butter chicken one is actually nice with a wee kick to it. The vindaloo is pretty good cooked slowly with either beef or chicken, I use two packets because I like the extra sauce. korma, pretty good. the rogan josh is alright, could be better. Madras, now that's pretty good too, also for a slow cookin!

Then if you feel like it, adding in some plain cooking yoghurt or sour cream, add in extras lke cumin seed, coriander etc nom nom diddly nom.

I need to invest in a rice cooker though. I am the worlds worst rice cook, no matter what instructions I follow.

I like and have both items. I might just try that the next time I can hobble into the kitchen. I've never mixed the two items together before but I did have some delicious ice cream with chili in it for dessert at a Japanese restaurant once.

Puts her headphones on and cranks up the sound.

Realizes the headphones weren't plugged in. Sits wide eyed hoping she didn't wake everyone up.
