Gordi, Scotland is just gorgeous!

Light, I have a lot of real plants around the house. I love having a bit of nature here in my apartment. I also have silk plants that look real. There is greenery and flowers everywhere.

Laughing often makes the other person feel embarrassed but it also defuses the situation. An honest and funny mistake is often the best kind. I've seen the photo of Gordi with a wig

Oh yes he does have a sense of humor. The lady when she got close up kept apologizing. LOL Funny as hell. We told her not to worry about it.

Love those! You have shared so many beautiful photos, but not everyone here has seen them. Your ocean ones remind me of Rhode Island. The one with the stag is awesome! I'm an ocean gal myself. Mountains have their own beauty, but give me the sea.

Very famous wee cottage that!
(Try google images... "Cottage Glencoe" for loads of photos of it!)
It's stunning, but very exposed to the weather!

Is the house in question one of those "free if you can reach it alive" places with no power or water but provided for travellers? There is a word for it but I read about them a while ago. Middle of nowhere kinda thing.

That cottage is actually fairly accessible - I took the photo from the main road!
Not sure about power - I think it was originally a simple shepherds cottage.
Are you thinking of the word "bothy"? That's a shelter built out on the hills usually in remote locations to protect travellers in the event of unexpectedly bad weather here. Also GREAT FUN when you meet strangers there and share a dram and a song or two!

Still snowing!!!!!! My Brother keeps waiting for the Landlord to send the plow guy back, otherwise he will get stuck sleeping at work tonight. Horrible out there! Wet heavy snow and LOTS of it!
