Here's the current one (and I'll post the other one you did for me also...next)...

Here's the alternate version..(this one is really cool too! I kind of forgot about this one. I can't remember, why did we opt for the other one?)

ETA - I think you liked the other one better for some reason (IIRC), so I went with that one. Do you recall why?

ETA II - The current one has the birds in it, and it also softens the tonal differences right in front of him. And of course the differences at the bottom. And the mesa. I remember I wanted the mesa and really dug the birds, so maybe it was me.

Yeah I remember that process...the other design was actually the first setup. We ditched it because the sunlight wasn't looking right...

After we introduced the mountain you gave the suggestion to add a couple of birds flying above it.

Anyway...you may have missed it on the previous page or you don't like it at all but I need some feedback on this design...

I LIKE it!! I agree, the orange is better. I love the gas mask on the bird, that's awesome! Let me look at it for a second and see if there's anything else. Awesome first pass though!!

Is there any way we could maybe darken him up a shade or two? That, or maybe put some dirt splotches on him so he looks more rustic?

ETA - Just him, the rest of the background looks just perfect.

Okay I turned the color a bit down on the suit and made it darker. I also added some shadow at his feet and added a very light blur to make it blend in with the background.

Just right-click and save it to your HDD/SD and upload it to ATS in your own upload section. Set it as background and done...

Not sure what you can do with her, as the pic is tiny in the first place. It was a birthday card I had years ago which I took a picture of, but I love what you did with FCD's pic above, but don't want to copy him. Putting a 3M facemask on her might work, but again, the face is a tiny area to work with.

I will sure give it a try....although the size right now is 200x500. So width is fine but I would have to stretch the length to make it fit. That is probably not going to look real well so I would either have to stretch it in both directions and you would end up with only a section of the current pic or I would have to find something to add on to artwork.

I'll get cracking.
