New Year's Eve party in Berlin to have 'safe zone' for women

Following last years string of sexual assaults and robberies reportedly committed by groups of male immigrants Berlin authorities are to set up a "safe zone" for female revelers.
No word on whether other countries who experienced similar behavior are taking extra measures to protect their civilians but I expect security will be increased in an attempt to head off further inconvenient headlines in the New Year.

If I were a woman I'd be pissed too. 'Oh, here you wilting flower, stand in this corral so the rapists can't get you.'

How about targeting the perpetrators and not treating the women like livestock.

Agreed , not sure how many were convicted and deported but I doubt it was many.

Isn't it sad that the whole population has to suffer because a minority can't be civilised?

It's a retreat zone setup by the red cross for women who feel uncomfortable or have been sexually assaulted or being harassed. They aren't going to segregate all women from the men. The women have a choice. It's just there, just in case.

But yea, it is sort of a sad that a celebration such as news years already has FEAR written all over it. It's going to be an interesting new years eve around the world that's for sure, many people on their toes, walking on egg shells.

I say Berlin men should stand up to the plate and protect their women from these thugs. It's obvious the police are either overwhelmed with this situation, or they were told not to cause a "scene" that would make Germany look bad. These "immigrants" should get their faces smashed in by billy clubs, batons or German men's fists.

The civilization is ripe for the taking too, mainly because the TVs are working overtime to ensure that citizens around the world see lies as truth, and truth as lies. Also, and most importantly, the TVs rely heavily on Americans being uneducated with short attention spans, that way, the propaganda is assumed to be truth.

Sad state of affairs when folks can't see that 'tolerance' is a 2-way street, has limitations and does not include manipulating existing axioms because 'book' says 'kill em all'.

The streets of European cities are much less safe for our daughters in particular than they were before ISIS. It is time for radical measures to correct the serious incompetent decisions made by our political leaders.

I would take into custody every single refugee that entered my country and ship them all back to where they came from where it is acceptable to behave like animals. No mercy! This is the only way to correct this horrendous error that has been made by useless stupid liberals!!

They should be put on a dinghy and hauled back to where they came from. Wars nearly over in Syria and they could use some help rebuilding.
