Whenever I want to lose weight, I cut out carbs and dairy products (not easy in France where bread and cheese is normally eaten in every meal!). That
alone makes a huge difference.
Eating lots of protein, adding some olive oil to steamed veggies, and taking a good walk each day does wonders.
I don't like sugar anyway (hate the sour acidic taste it leaves in the mouth), and I stay away from fast foods, so as to not develop a taste for
them. If you don't remember what a bacon cheeseburger tastes like, it just looks like trash.
I don't get into organized diets, I hate feeling so boxed in.
