The Last Jedi the racial diversity and gender political empowered movie -spoilers.

So I have been to the cinema.. and I am still shaken.. and sad that so much potential have been tosted away.

So my favorite franchise have just be devoured by a great beast called Disney.

*Disney just wanted to kill off the rest of the "old gang" to make way for their new racial diversity and gender political correct teen group.

*No lightsaber duel.

*Luke is not acting Luke, even Mark Hamill does not recognize him as Luke.

*The lead up to Snoke, falls flat and we are left with no answers to who or what he was or why.

*Disney comedy is filled into every screen.. and one feels like even the movie itself does not take anything seriously.

*Snoke, Kylo Ren, Hux and Phasma are supposed to be the ultimate symbols of unspeakable evil and terror. They control the most fearsome military operation in the history of the galaxy. Most of the time it seems likely that a few porgs with a stiff breeze could take them down.

* You can fly a set of bombers right up to a dreadnought but then it takes about 10 minutes to travel the remaining few hundred meters.
Not to mention the bombs fell with the help of gravity when the bomb bays where open ( in space )

*Oh, and did you know that Princess Leia can fly now? Sure, why not?!

I just wanted to see Luke unleash all his powers and go out fighting instead of dying as a political statement that US drone pilots do good but it consumes their life, or something like that.

They had to kill off the last of the white patriarchy. Only Monsanto is more evil than Disney. Next up: a trans-gendered wookie.

Old people dies too, it's sad but it's better to retire old characters and replace them with new ones for the sake of the franchise, it's that or recast, cgi them or stop making movies.

The reality is with something as star wars no matter what you do there is a group that won't like it and will only see it in disgust a couple more times to be sure.

well hamill knew what was gonna happen. luke was broken just like ben was after his failure.

of course he didnt recognize that luke.

and snoke isnt dead really(if he was then rey and kylos connection would had been gone and kylo would not held the golden dice. snoke most likely used force possesion on a clone. no way he didnt feel kylo moving the saber. he wanted him to release his spirit to become stronger. snoke got his wish too. skywalker is dead.

Was Luke a patriarch?

The racially diverse storyline of black dude with Asian chick showed failure to resolve anything two times, the only thing they did was free some horse things that will just get hunted down because they are on a bad guy controlled planet anyways. Anyone going to see the film will demand their one third of the movies screen time back, it ruined the rest of the film.

The epic music was always 50% of the formula that made these movies work, and it wasn't there for this movie. It felt like Williams just wasn't into this film, don't blame him. He was probably just as confused and disappointed trying to score to the crap on the screen.

Kylo could have just blamed Snoke's death on Rey then the guards would have surrounded her then he could have gave her the ultimatum to join him or die. Instead they had a plot useless skirmish and ten minutes later told Hux it was Rey anyway.

How does projectoLuke become a Myth by not stopping Kylo, being too cowardly to face him in person and being so stupid he used a power that killed him? Like WTF Disney logic sux, just like the movie did.

I give it a negative zero out of ten, go see super hero Disney movies for cheesy jokes and special effects, Star Wars is over.

Because its not political driven and takes that political goo and mix it into one of the most popular sci fi franchises, sprinkle it in there like it was the best thing ever..

take both movies together. snoke wanted luke dead. snoke needed kylo darker to do this. kylo killed his body in anger with lukes saber. snoke knew kylos thought and egged him on. he said his true enemy. snoke. we aint seen the last of snoke..i mean dark plagius

So you disagree that people die as they get older and there was no real way to keep the old cast as protagonist forever, cool.

Your dog could, but most like would have done something way worse, even George Lucas tried and the result was crap.

People should just face it already, star wars had two good movies and the rest was #.

I think you are missing the point.. I have no problem with Luke dying
I just have a problem with how he died, and the lack of information about his char and everything else and everything I said above.

So now he can just force ghost himself to every bad guy and cast some chain lightning spells.. as Yoda did in the movie.

no they didnt. sith can shoot lightning remember. so one with the force can call lightning.

There will never be a Star Wars as good as Rogue One. Not the originals, the sequels, or these.

It simply was the best thing I have ever seen on film and the last 15 minutes of it really was spectacular.

No in the comics force projection is also used. and the user also dies of doing so, it was explained in a interview I seen.. I am sure it can be googled.

But that still make it an anticlimactic end of one of the greatest known Jedi´s in Star Wars.
If he knew he would die of that.. he should have been there in person, and gone out with a bang... going full on Jedi Master.. swinging and pushing those walkers around with the force... and then die

Nothing beats the originals.. BUT I agree, Rogue One was surprising good.
