Palpatine also created a ton of jobs and kept the economy going.

Exactly.

And I don't buy those rumors of Jawas being sent to the East.

One thing I'd like to point out is this....

It is highly likely that Caucasians would be a minority on the cosmic scale...... particularly so on the Star Wars scale of aiens...

However, the telling point here is the OP discussing The First Order. That is the where the propaganda is coming in full force. The only caveat I can begin to consider is that traditionally, Hollywood has shown evildoers as British.... very tongue in cheek when considering Hollywood's relationship with Great Britain.

I don't really agree is anti white and haven't seen the last Jeri but the only thing I saw that was forced was the lame weird relationship between Ray and Finn. I don't care it's interracial just the most forced romance I've ever seen on film.

Nice to meet you, I love you

I've noticed an increase of interracial couples in television commercials, so what does someone do to prove/disprove a theory? You're right, I taped up My computer camera and tape over the 'audio hook' and hit Google™. Good to see that I still haven't lost it.

I began to notice this many years back. All white men on sitcoms are either fat, imbecilic, inept, or evil/stupid. All black or latino or mixed men are wise. Asian men are usually just portrayed as either goofy or cranky. Almost every other commercial shows mixed coupling with the exception of white man with ______ female. It is so weird that ad agencies and so on are so needful to portray this.

It is really weird. I mean if it was here and there, who cares? But its just so constant.

You know Rey being a woman doesn't make her not white correct?

PS: Just watch the original six movies where the whole galaxy was white washed except for Lando and you can get a good dosage of white love.

Oh, and Star Wars doesn’t hate White people, but Disney does. They have been social engineering our country for decades. They are the epitome of an evil mega-corporation.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You should go open up a history book.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan. Empire Strikes Back is my favorite movie of all time. I loved The Force Awakens. However The Last Jedi just felt off to me. As I was watching I couldn't help but notice how white people were portrayed.

I didn't have a problem with Rey, a woman, being a central character. I didn't have a problem with Finn being a black man. We're all humans and I felt the characters were great and had no issues with TFA. However watching TLJ I couldn't help but look at the racial disparities.

Let's take a look at all the new characters.
Rey - woman
Finn - black man
Poe - Guatemalan/American
Rose - Asian/American
Kylo Ren - white man -evil

But then take a look at everyone in the First Order. It was all whites. They didn't have big parts so I don't remember the names but I don't think I saw a single person of color in their ranks. You could say Finn but he had a moral compass and left so he doesn't count, plus that was in TFA so it's not the same movie. I will admit they had the token white woman in the silver storm trooper suit, but that's it.

I used to love Star Wars, but at this point it's political propaganda.

As the story is set in a galaxy far far away, how can any of the characters be American, Guatemalan or Asian? None of them are from Earth and since when is Woman a colour or race?.

Sorry, I don’t think Star Wars has a problem with whites. You seem to be complaining that much of the cast was white. Your problem seems to be that they needed more diversity in the First Order, which is true now that I think about it. I doubt it is a plot to portray whites as evil. Rather, I am sure they probably focused extra hard on getting a few diverse characters (Fin, the Asian girl, the lead female) in the lead roles and then didn’t try as hard with the extras and secondary characters such as the First Order and the rebels.

Kylo Ren is white because he is the offspring of Leia and Han, who are white, not because white people are evil.

I do agree that to be more diverse, Star Wars could have inserted a colored character into the First Order command structure. I believe I saw some colored First Order personell, but I’m not certain since I don’t get triggered or emotionally activated every time I see an actor of color, I can’t even remember if there were colored rebels besides the main characters.

Also, let’s not forget that Leia was white, Luke was white, Han was white, I would call Poe white, even the purple haired lady in charge of the rebels was white.

Also, even though Rey is a female, she is still white. In addition, all force users in this movie were white.

Also, a majority of the First Order are stormtroopers. There seriously could have been some colored folk acting as one and it would be hard to know.

Also, if I haven’t eased your fears yet, I definitely remember some blacks in the city that was responsible for dealing weapons to the Empire. They were even in outrageous costumes.

I'm just confused that in a Galaxy far far away a really long time ago that there were even "humans" to begin with, their race is irrelevant in that context.

Huh.

I wasn't aware that the fictional Star Wars films were sentient beings.

Must feel bad living in a world where one believes a movie franchise "hates," white people.

Same people that got bent out of shape over the casting of a woman *gasp* and a black man *gasp* as two main protagonists.

It's racist!!!1!2!1eleven11!

Excuse me?

They are the antagonists, clearly.

Snoke is the good guy who wants to bring order and peace to the Galaxy, the First Order fights for Justice, and Kylo Ren is the protagonist good guy hero that is out to stop the criminal scum from mucking up everything.

People got upset that he was forced to kill his dad, Han Solo, but think about it. Han was a prolific criminal that murdered hundreds of people over many years, and kept escaping Justice. Not only that but clearly he was a terrible father.

Han gave Kylo Ren no choice but to put an end to the treachery right then and there.
