That's actually what the OP's complaining about. They're saying that Trump got their hopes up by saying that Jerusalem is Israel's capital & that he would move our embassy there, yet he still ended up doing like everyone else by signing the 6 month delaying waiver again.

Signing the proclamation that says Jerusalem is the capital is the "all talk" part, while signing the 6 month delay waiver is the "but no action" part.

So the urine stains on pants of everyone hating this is not a big deal?

It was stupid then and it would be stupid now. Fortunately, it's just another one of Trump's tall tales.

Yeah to blaming Trump for the actions of radical muslims and fanatics. That's the way to go. Must be nice to live in a world that is full of rainbow clouds and smells like unicorn farts. How about blaming the actual perpetrators or are radical muslims or christians(both pos) no longer considered terrorists? Some people are so far gone they are no longer able to think for themselves. Such a pity.

What does any of that have to do with the Israeli capital?

I don't disagree. Trump did nothing after saying he was doing something. And liberals are squaking about it.

We're all losers here, no doubt.

One more thing. I've noticed that many articles are all saying that any move to Jerusalem would take years to complete, with the articles typically saying it would take 3 to 4 years. So even if he wanted to do this, it's looking like it wouldn't actually happen until the 2020 elections or later.

From: US to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital, will move embassy there, Trump to announce

The officials said the embassy move could take "years" — possibly three to four — and there is no location yet for the new facility.

The administration reportedly hasn't decided where the U.S. embassy will be built in Jerusalem, acknowledging it could take years to eventually complete the move.

From: Why Trump's promise to move US Embassy to Jerusalem is so controversial

The embassy move is expected to take a minimum of three or four years, U.S. officials said.

From: Defiant Trump confirms US will recognise Jerusalem as capital of Israel

In a short speech delivered at the White House, Trump directed the state department to start making arrangements to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem – a process that officials say will take at least three years.

Oh that's right I forgot all about Mecca..ops.
The 2nd place I have never even heard of.

Sorry, I didn't see this post. Medina is the site of the 2nd Hijrah, was one of the cities where Surahs in the Qur'an were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad, is the location of the Prophet's personal mosque, is the burial place of the Prophet, and was the capital for their empire. In other words, it's pretty important (I probably left out some stuff but meh).

So why do you think Muslims are upset about the embassy?

A bunch of reasons, including most that I won't discuss (simply not in the mood to). But the most obvious is because Jerusalem was given to the Palestinians by the UN during the partition of Palestine. The Palestinians claim East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine even though Israel conquered & occupied it after the 1967 war (non-Jews make up a majority of its population). Israel's slowly kept seizing more and more Palestinian land, including massive illegal settlements, and even annexed all of Jerusalem around 1980. Tel Aviv is officially Israel's capital and I'm pretty sure it's where its allies have their embassies.

If you ever pay attention to the dialogue around solving the Palestinian situation, there's an option called the "2 State solution" which involves having 2 separate nations, Israel and Palestine. The Palestinians would have a fully independent Palestine while Israel would finally be fully recognized by all of its neighbors. The Palestinian capital would theoretically be East Jerusalem, which would clearly be impossible if Israel is allowed to keep it. This Palestine would also involve Israel moving back their borders to pre-war boundaries, usually with the proposals revolving around the borders before the 1967 war.

Netanyahu and his allies are generally strongly anti-"2 State solution", which leaves either the integration of Palestinians into Greater Israel or forcing the Palestinians out of Greater Israel. Many Zionists don't want more Palestinians integrating into Israel because the global Palestinian population is roughly twice the population of the Jewish population in Israel (meaning it would cease to be a "Jewish" state). Therefore they'll keep doing what they're currently doing, which is slowly settling on Palestinian land, periodically demolishing non-Israeli settlements and homes in Palestinian land, maintaining their crippling sanctions on the Palestinian-controlled Gaza Strip, and making sure the Palestinian refugees in neighboring countries never settle back into Palestinian lands.

Do ether of those things bother you?

Ok then there is no need for the media or Muslims to flip out. I hope they too realize its has been the US policy for years, and even if the embassy does move there is no need for violence.

The thing is I don't think anyone knows about the The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995. Or even cares to find out...

Then this is a good thing. Information about how things have been done under previous administrations being made a point of in public. Bring attention to the facts as they stand, and hopefully enlightening some to how things were.

It's not a bad thing that people are up in arms over something done since 95.. it is a bad thing if people remain up in arms over it, if they know it completely and still blame Trump for being open and transparent about it.

Except hes not being open about it.

He made a huge show by signing "something" on live TV like he was going to move forward with recognizing it, and establishing the embassy in Jerusalem, and then immediately did the same thing every president has done and shelved it for 6 months just like we have done for the last 22 years.

To me thats a despicable slight of hand by Trump and is a spit in the face of anyone that supported him in doing it.

His people should be pissed off, he made a show of it for 3 days and then reneged. (After of course he made himself look like a hero on TV with his paper and pen)

President Trump has waived the move of the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem — at least for now, according to the White House. Moving the embassy had been a key campaign promise.

Let’s say he gets the move done through all the violence. Trump will stand in the middle of Jerusalem with press and tv from every corner of earth. He will claim the victory and name it, like a good evangelical. If you do not understand the deep meaning of that to religious prophecy and religious people,I suggest you study about the man of abomination.

There was no point in Trump doing this with such fanfare. The fact is, as has been repeatedly pointed out and then repeatedly ignored by the Trump acolytes, Jerusalem was recognized as Israel's capital back in 1995. And the 'embassy move' has been deferred every 6mos since. Look that up --- it's fact. All Trump did (as he usually does) is make it LOOK like he was doing something unprecedented and bigly. When all this was doe 22yrs ago. Besides stroking his immeasurably huge ego and making all his gullible supporters believe he is 'the man', what Trump DID accomplish was to destabilize the region and foment even more hatred, animosity and threats against the U.S. by loudly throwing salt in the wounds of a great many people. Spin this however you need to in order to feel like a 'winner' but this is fact. The only thing Trump is good for is stirring up conflict.

There may be an aside as to why things are still being reported as usual...reaction?

It's kinda weird this Q person wrote about something to do with the deception side of things how it is important in some way?

Strategy. Future cooperation or a new cold war?

Well how about keeping the initiative around while waiting for their disputes in the region to end, although the Left typically for whatever reason liked to promote radical Islam. Sounds like some kind of detente to me. The Cabal is notorious for playing sides in their Hegelian managed conflict. That way Istael still recognized and the Democrats get the votes for both Jewish progressives and radical muslims . Don't know why Trump playing this game too.

are you familiar with Noahide U.S. Public Law 102-14?

it is an American federal law which states that the “Seven Noahide Laws” (Laws from the Jewish Babylonian Talmud) are the principle on which the United States was founded, and that it is the responsibility of America to transmit these “ethical values” to future generation both in the U.S. and World.

Also Some Hurricane Harvey victims could not recieve aid unless they agreed to "not boycott Israel", i thought that was weird.

Basically the entire thing is a non-issue...but I feel that Trump likes to purposefully troll liberals and he knew that if hey said something the left would go nuts. Why he likes to troll the left I dunno, he wants to make them look crazy I guess but really he ends up looking just as crazy lol

why did President Trump do this? perhaps because the other Presidents before him were all working with the globalist elites? The same elites who want to blame and bash Israel every time they had a chance, yet those same globalists want to ignore the atrocities done by the Palestinian authorities...

Israel keeps closing and taking parts of Gaza and other areas because HAMAS and other Muslim terrorist organizations keep attacking Israel from those areas. Even when Israel gave part of Gaza back to the Palestinians the next thing the Palestinians did was to set up mortars and attack Israeli cities. I find it ironic how you want to leave out that bit of information.

BTW...the majority of Muslims states still believe that every land they conquered but was reconquered by other people still belongs to the Muslims, such as Spain aka Al-Andalus.

You want to talk about nations illegally taking over lands and subjugating people?... That's part of Muslim history which to this day Muslim authorities like the Palestinians try to do with Israel. The real reason why so many Muslims are against this is simply because many Muslim nations/states, and many of their people do not want Israel to exist at all. Israel is the thorn on the shoe of Muslim authorities because Israel has not bowed to the politically correct, and castrated, left throughout the world, and instead Israel fights back.

Should we also take a look at what is happening with the Muslim influx of "refugees" (more like modern invaders) in Europe thanks to the castrated, politically correct left movement throughout Europe?

That's the newest tactic of invasion. Meanwhile there are many Muslims who do want to live in peace and some want to integrate to western nations, the great majority of the refugees simply want to conquer Europe and other nations by over running them and demanding changes that favor only Muslims.

Tall tales? are you talking about the left constant lies about Trump, and others like Moore and then getting caught in your lies which several of you keep ignoring? Now that's a "nothing burger" and the long list of "tall tales" and "real fake news" the left keeps coming up with.

As for this, perhaps you would love for the U.S. to be submissive to terrorist Muslim groups, but imo it is about time the U.S. got it's balls back and sided once more with Israel.

It is good that usa recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of israel and in time most of the world will do the same and move their embassies there. Its a Biblical Prophecy to begin with.
