I just went to the White House site, and found this quote:

I think he signed the proclamation, and did not postponed it

Hamas says Trump has opened the 'gates of hell' by recognising Jerusalem as Israel's capital...they're putting red white and blue lights around the walls in Jerusalem.....its really going to get hot over there.

Which is interesting since Hamas gave up control back to a unified government. I guess the word of Hamas means nothing and they arent interested in peace.

This is for Palestinian consumption I believe. Look for Trump to begin brokering negotiations and now he has a really big card to play.

Saudi Arabia's King Salman told Mr Trump, according to a Saudi readout of their telephone conversation.

Declaring Jerusalem as Israel's capital, the King said, "would constitute a flagrant provocation to all Muslims, all over the world. ......all over the world is a lot of Muslims.....this looks like a different kind of war game

Except a delayed time line in years is not attached to his actions in Israel. The state department has been directed to find a new location for our embassy as soon as logistically possible to do so.

Judaism or Islam?

Hint: Judaism has by a long time. Islam has no religious claims in this area, only military conquest ones. If that is the standard they will use then Israel is justified in using the same standard.

Did you read the full OP? Trump did exactly what Clinton, Bush, and Obama did. He still signed the same waiver of the 1995 law which delays the transfer of our embassy to Jerusalem for 6 months. So Trump in this instance is exactly what you're claiming he is not; he said one thing but still signed the waiver like the others did. From the OP's link:

ETA: As the OP noted, every single President since the law was passed has signed 6 month waivers every 6 months specifically to delay the transfer of our embassy there. Trump even signed the waiver before.

I hope they too realize its has been the US policy for years, and even if the embassy does move there is no need for violence.

Also, Senate passed this 90-0 back in June.

Israel sees Jerusalem as their capital, it's their capital.

Their country. They can make a Starbucks their capital if the wanted.
