if it keeps employees safe i have no problem with it. in my little town of 600 thy installed a 2 inch bullet resistant glass for city clerk
unfortunately the room is secured with a dry rotted wooden door left from 70 years earlier when it was train station.
In all my life I've never seen a store with plexiglass around the cashier. I've seen some items behind locked panels though, but nothing extensive.
Locked items make it hard to look at them.
So is it mainly liquor places that have these?
Is it normal for stores in china or asia to be this way? I say this because the first time I became aware of these kinds of stores it was from an
asian country. Something I saw online and thought was weird.
