well this took an interesting turn of events... I had no idea this board was placed under the federal reserve, including their budget, to block Congress from defunding it in addition to exercising oversight.

Given the salaries of the people appointed to the board it sure looks like a shady operation.

I am curious what the new acting director will find that the Democrats wanted kept secret.

I started realizing that when a federal judge noted the lack of oversight authority when Obama illegally made recess appointments. I just never realized how bad it was.

It does make one wonder how certain forces are going to react if Trump and prosecutions start to threaten certain people.

I am still surprised the old acting director is trying to sue to stop the appointment of the new acting director. That screams im trying to hide something illegal in my opinion.

He's done anything but drain the swamp up to this point. If anything he's fired it up with is biggest payers.

Working at Goldman Sachs does not make one part of the swamp anymore than those same people having Ivy League degrees. There are only so many major investment banks where bankers cut their teeth. If you work in the industry, there is a high likelihood of you working for Goldman at some point in a career.
