But my hopes are tempered by the revelations of slush funds for sex abuse in congress.

It's not partisan, they all suck, they all are corrupt, they won't eat their own.

* The first $31.3 million was donated by Giustra's own charity months after the 2005 trip to Kazakhstan.

* In April of 2007, South African company Uranium One acquired UrAsia Energy. At this point, Frank Giustra sold his stake which was worth about $45 million.

* In March of 2008, Frank Giustra organized a "star-studded" charity gala for the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative at the Harbour Castle Westin in Toronto. That event took in about $16 million in pledges from various celebs. Giustra himself pledged $100 million from his own charity to fund the initiative.

* In June of 2009, Rosatom acquired a 17% stake in Uranium One.

* In December of 2009, Uranium One and Cogema Mining announced the acquisition of Cogema by Uranium one, a sale completed in January of 2010. Cogema mining owned the mineral rights to the land comprising the Willow Creek Project (two sites aka Irigaray and Christensen Ranch) in Wyoming (land is half privately owned and half owned by the federal government and managed by BLM).

* On June 8th 2010, Rosatom announced its intent to expand its stake in Uranium One to 51% which is what required CFIUS approval (because of Willow Creek).

So no, the Russians didn't give the Clinton Foundation $140 million. Most of that money came from Frank Giustra of UrAsia Energy, a chunk of it when he was still operating UrAsia Energy and another chunk after the sale of UrAsia to Uranium One which occurred years before Rosatom ("the Russians") had entered the picture.

Yes, and we know guistra was advocating for things that were in the interest of the Russian government.

And remember, people thought there would be a great chance Hillary would be the next President in 2005.

Now tell me why we need investigations into trump or associated financial ties going back to 2006 (in the case of the manafort indictment) well before anyone had a remote idea trump would even run for president, but Hillary getting around 100 million from a person advocating jrussian interests doesn't matter because it was before sh3 was SOS?

Further more, even with guistra money out of the mix, the Clintons still received millions from people pushing the u1 deal while she was SOS, including a personal 500 thousand dollars to Bill from a Russian bank.

So is the official word from democrats here that millions from Russian interests to the Clintons is no big deal, but a half a million in Facebook adds was a huge deal that shows russia is evil and helped trump steal the election?
