The point being, a) we have a right to free speech.

You don't have any right on a private site as long as you agree with their conditions.

b) it means Twitter can easily decide whats views and narratives are allowed, which means those corps and people who have stocks and shares in Twitter control the narrative to their own agendas.

Like in all other companies.

c) we have a right to privacy off line.

That's the part I don't get, how are they going to monitor their users off platform? I don't see how that is possible in any legal way.

the "Q" rumor mill is saying that moment trumps twitter went down was actually an attempt by twitter to enforce these new methods on trumps account, supposedly the attempt failed, so instead they are rolling it out as a feature for all users so it will end up on trumps account anyway, supposedly this will allow twitter to track trumps location making it unsafe for potus to use which will likely force him to stop using twitter so he cant reach the people directly without the media filter.

That already happens, all sites can track (more or less) your location through your IP address or, if you allow it, by your browser and/or operating system.

It begins with hate groups and hate speech, morphs into censorship of truth and information.

"Net Neutrality" isn't about fairness, its about censorship.

You don't become a member without agreeing.

Bill of rights, right to privacy freedom of speech, whats that?

Interesting to note we are sitting in the privacy of our own homes but aren't even private with our thoughts.

They're getting ready for the 2018 elections.

They soooo want to be an influencing media vehicle.

I wonder who's paying them for these "policies" ?

The Trump administration has revoked "net neutrality."

Good thing too. Quite why Obama thought he could tell ISPs how to operate their platforms and under what circumstances is baffling.

The correct approach is the one being adopted, by the sound of it. An ISP will have to be transparent about their policy and make it easily accessible to customers. If they choose to ban certain sites/content then they'll lose customers. Just need some healthy competition now and everyone is a winner... with no need for communists to start dictating to business.

it sucks, but i do not own twitter. i use their services for free no less.
that being said. when facebook and twitter first came out, i realized by luck, hey do not use your real name.

every social media page i use, has a different last name. none of them close to my actual last name. my email address i have a fake last name as well.

since i started this at the beginning, im grandfathered in. like i tried to create a crazy name for a new fake facebook page, facebook AI replied, 'that is not a real name...'

also, i misspell everything, so as to not trip filters. i have had my fb and gm-AIL accounts hacked and everything deleted three times. ever since then, misspell everything.

i send notes to my email address, artists i like, places i want to go to, story ideas, etc, via text to email. i delete all my emails, but i keep these notes. i sent out a video once about corrupt jails and gm-ail deleted every single email. EVEN in my trash. i do not even know if there is a button to do that.

luckily my cell phone still had a cache of emails, but only in the sent file. so i took pics to prove it happened.

but i lost all those notes, which i am still furious about. i had so many books in there i wanted to buy, and i cannot remember them all.
