The girl was frightened. They were celebrities with lots of money--and one of them had a gun. You might ask why didn't they say something earlier? Have you ever been raped or beaten or verbally abused or socially ostracized or similar? People who're abused often will blame themselves or be so humiliated or confused or afraid they won't say anyhting for years. What's happening--I think--is hte news of other celebrities being sexual predators is giving victims confidence to speak out, about something they've long been painfully keeping inside.

Interesting times we living in, watching fake heroes, and villains falling from grace, we really should curb our hero worship.

The *stories* haven't come out for your's or others titillation's, the victims

have been able to speak out after years of carrying the burden (and it is a burden) of

secrecy, guilt, self loathing etc.

A validation that they are not guilty it is not their faults ......they are victims


Unless you have been a victim you will never realise just how good that feels.

As a mom with 2 daughters all of these new shocking pre 1983 sexual assault cases scream look this way, no no not over there, look over here (waving arms frantically) Somebody, somewhere is very thankful and the other person seems to have reinvented the all American dream of get rich quick.
