Get ready for the liberal lackeys on this site to start defending this or making it less than it is, while insinuating how dumb the other side is. Ahhhh, ATS, that wonderful conspiracy site right?

DNC Releases Statement on Fusion GPS Report: ‘New Leadership Was Not Involved’

DNC Communications Director Xochitl Hinojosa released a statement:

Tom Perez and the new leadership of the DNC were not involved in the decision-making regarding Fusion GPS, nor were they aware that Perkins Coie was working with the organization.
But let’s be clear, there is a serious federal investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia, and the American public deserves to know what happened.

No, the right wing has become the new Nazis. The Left are just regular Americans fighting against Nazis and hateful ideology.

The Nazis will lose again.
Total delusional perspective, you literally drank the kool aid.

I see my optimism at expecting even the most voracious trump haters to be troubled by this was unfounded.

Great thta overnight we got a litany of reasons why a political party paying foreign agents for dirt, then using that dirt to have the intelligence community survey those opponents is just fine.

This is one of the most corrupt political manuevers I have ever seen, and pails in comparison to anything Russia is accused of doing, but these people are just fine with it.

Lets look at some of the excuses.

"Trump obviously did this too". No he didn't. There is no proof he or anyone on his campaign either paid or received dirt from foreign state agents. Nor did he then use that info to weaponize the intel community against his opponents. This is an obvious lie and those claiming it ought to be ashamed.

"Good for the democrats doing this" Obviously a troll who does not care about the country.

"Trump kept a bunch of money" Illustrates exactly the insane mental gymnastics people wlll make to keep from admitting when their team does something wrong.

"The dossier is factual" No it isn't. Some of it has been verified to be false. Other parts of it a Jerry springer sensationalism that is garbage. None of it is verified. Why would we believe the source of the document when we can verified that they were absolutely wrong in parts of it.

And even if it all was true, it doesn't change the fact that democrats and the republican that paid for it colluded with foreign agents (including Russians that got paid for this) to dig up dirt on Trump, and then Obama used that collusion to weaponize the intel community against Trump.

Remember when dealing with members defending this in the future; they don't care about corruption. They will defend the most egregious examples of it to go after people they don't like.

We have seen Trump lovers explain away the meeting with Manafort and Trump Jr. literally all year long because "every campaign tries to get dirt on the opposition." This was regardless of the fact that the DIRECT providers of the information (or expected "dirt") to the Trump Campaign were Russian agents. The real possibility that this self-confessed act (after levels of prevarication and lying) on the part of Trump Jr. was illegal has been denigrated, denied and dismissed.

Now we "find out" what we have known since the summer of 2016 ... that both Republicans and Democrats tried to get "dirt" on Trump, and further that an attorney was employed to do so (who in turn employed an AMERICAN firm Fusion GPS who in turn used Christoper Steele (a known American espionage asset of British origin) to do so.)

Predictably, in the hypocritical, reality-denying, hyper-reactive manner we have all come to expect, our ATS Trump lovers have now switched their stories completely on the particular point of "getting dirt on the opposition" and try to lie outright and suggest that this was equivalent to the months of Russian interference in our electoral process which seems to have been aided and abetted by various members of the Trump campaign.

This dishonesty and irrationality on the part of ATS Trump lovers is disgusting, gut-wrenching and repellant ... but sadly, it is also unsurprising.

Show me the dirt Trummp Jr. got from russian agents.

Show me where he paid for it.

Show me where Fisa court warrants were issued based on the paid for dirt to foreign agents and then used to use the intel community to surveillance Trumps opponents.

The outreach ramped up after Trump’s victory. Shulyar pointed out that Poroshenko was among the first foreign leaders to call to congratulate Trump. And she said that, since Election Day, Chaly has met with close Trump allies, including Sens. Jeff Sessions, Trump’s nominee for attorney general, and Bob Corker, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, while the ambassador accompanied Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, Ukraine’s vice prime minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration, to a round of Washington meetings with Rep. Tom Marino (R-Pa.), an early Trump backer, and Jim DeMint, president of The Heritage Foundation, which played a prominent role in Trump’s transition.

This part is interesting as well in light of the current arguments between Trump and Corker.

I know. Yet another example of Hillarys campaign colluding with a foreign government to get dirt on trump.

This was pointed out on these threads for a while now.

The response from the anti trump crowd; "This has been debunked" with providing not evidence or even claims as to why.

Truly astounding.

LOL ... yeah, I'm not sure what the ATS Trump lovers are going to do when the Mueller investigation starts issuing indictments. I guess you'll investigate Hillary's college transcripts or Obama's favorite cookie recipe.

He didn't; he was conned into thinking he was going to get something. Poor boy, he's about as dense as his daddy.

Isn't your claim that FISA warrants were issued based on data in the Peegate Dossier? Do I have to go quote that to you too? You've already admitted that you know that there's no evidence against Clinton in all this ... aren't you embarrassed enough?

Its been a year and no indictments its not going to happen. Muellers credibility is gone at this point so congress would not act on any of his recommendation.

Keep telling yourself that. Regarding financial crimes, it was known at the outset that it could take as much as eighteen months.

You guys sure are getting nervous though ... so something's up and coming soon, huh?

It would require one of these witnesses to tie these things together. I doubt its possible but to rule it out is silly.

Hahahaha!

Yep, you have nothing!

Um, yes, i said it seems the peegate dossier was used for Fisa warrants. What does that prove for you? It shows you are wrong say Trump did the same thing; it proves that Hillarys campaign bought dirt from foriegn agents and that was used by Obama for fisa warrants. That is far worse than anything russia is accused of doing.

You keep saying that I said there is no evidence against Hillary, I said in the uranium one I have not seen evidence that she is guilty, but there is much evidence to warrant an investigation. It has nothing to do with this issue.

The fact that you are willing to call trump guilty with no evidence is a joke, and proves that unlike me, you are not actually trying to be fare minded.

Your dreaming if you think it is going to touch Trump. Maybe manafort though in light of recent events thats unlikely as well since his lawyer can easily destroy the scenario since it was based on Ukraines investigation.

Have I said here or have I ever said that the Mueller investigation is going to "touch Trump"? I don't think so. Indeed, I have asked several members of the ATS Trump Team why they falsely conflate the investigation into Russian meddling with Mr. Trump himself? I've not seen that they are investigating Trump; Jim Comey told the President that he wasn't the focus of the FBI investigation ... so you folks must know something in this regard that I don't.

I have nothing except your own words ... you dishonestly ask me for evidence for a claim you made yourself.

Can you quote me calling Trump guilty? Or are you lying about that as well?

Because I can quote you saying a lot of things that routinely prove untrue when you contradict yourself a few posts later.

There is no evidence linking the dossier to the Fisa warrants. What you would need is a look at FBI investigations to see how much weight they gave it,judging from comeys statement it was dismissed
