November 2004 off the coast of Calif. Nimitz Battle group and UFO

Tonight George Knapp is on C2C talking about the encounter the USS Nimitz battle group had with what they are calling a Tic Tac UFO.. Evidently there is gun camera and infrared military video of the incident.. I am posting this for those who might want to follow up as this information is just being released today 10/23/2017

C2C is using a post from FB as it's source, which is a FB group called Scientific Coalition for Ufology, they reposted the info based on a post at another FB group called Gavas Dot Com. The excerpt I included is from Gavas Dot Com and the name Jeremy Corbell was left out of the original FB post that C2C picked up.

Of these three documents, the one that I find the strongest is the story by the naval aviator. The Navy Event Summary and the F-18 video support the story but more was needed. The question in my mind then became---could I support this information from another source. In December of 2016 I submitted nine FOIAs to various departments of the Navy and Marines to try and verify this event. In Part II of this series, I will share the information on the FOIAs that I submitted.

Since not everyone will go searching on FB I hauled the links an such here to make this easier. I have no clue who Corbell is but it would seem relevant? I also don't know how respected, if at all, Fighter Sweep is as a aero publication. Hoping some more knowledgeable people can shed some light on it?

OK it would seem JEREMY KENYON LOCKYER CORBELL is an investigative filmmaker, the same one who brought us the following film. IIRC there was a few threads here on ATS about it.

But for the unofficial release of the video of this event, this whole affair would never see the light of day. Undoubtedly, there have been tens of thousands of such experiences witnessed by competent service personal and their equipment since the UFOs began their current siege during World War Two.

It must be one Hellofva shock to be flying or operating our best equipment and find that you are not even in the game.
Such is part of the hard-hitting drama that the whole world faces across all of its aspect be they civilian, military or government.

That the observed data is almost incomprehensible by current standards of thought and technology should be enough for sleepless nights of rethinking our position in the cosmos. And if you want to believe and pretend that your government knows nothing of ETI activity on our planet, then you haven't been paying attention, only accepting what you are told to believe.

The alleged Naval Document - is meant to look like a standard military signal format. But it's gibberish. Contained within the first few lines is ADEX which stands for Air Defence Exercise which clearly the report is not about. I didn't continue reading after that.

We would appreciate your dissection of the entire piece to show that it made up entirely of whole cloth. Barring that from you I would have to call your dismissal as an attempt to deny the case in total which is SOP from those blindly skeptical or charged with a particular duty.

There is good information within the links and videos, and running a search on tic tac UFO leads to another George Knapp video clip that discusses most of the same things, but also a bit more. Obviously this is a case that has much more material to back it up as a true unknown technology that was pretty much putting on a display for US military forces, and it toyed with them as a show of extreme superiority, but was not hostile. It seems most of the aircraft during the encounter were not loaded out with any fire power at the time which is interesting when reflecting on what the unknown object was doing.

That they have been here for decades, at least, should be proof in itself that they are not here for lunch.
This thread is probably doomed to die from indifference for some strange reason by the usual aviation participants.

This allegedly highly classified UFO sighting was fully explained and detailed in some guy's blog that's been freely avaiable on the Internet for several years. Yeah, okay.

It's strange to see this get recycled back to ATS after all these years.

Cornell was actually on Myterious Universe the other night talking about this. He was basically saying that one of the solid names in Tom Delonge's new group was leaking out the link to the website for a reason. Apparently this was the night of letting the public know what this new group was going to be about.

ReDing some of the responses it doesn't seem like it is all that unknown as it was being presented to be. For any MU listeners this was from the latest show plus edition.

I disagree. The ADEX is the exercise they were doing for workups. When I was planning CompTuEx's, we would use the formal designation of events (ADEX, BombEx, CAPEX, etc) on the air plan and for debriefs, as we were training the entire network, from Intel, to execution, to debriefing.

So, if this was JTFX or C2X, the ADEX code would be used. I don't think this invalidates the document at all.

Yes. It should be good. F18 with 2004 tech.

Would be kind of ironic, though, if it turns out to be the same video ATS mostly rejected ten years ago.

Thanks. Maybe someone else, who might have seen the one from the 2007 thread can chip in if it is the same.

We shall have to wait for the official video to compare, perhaps.
