After watching the full video I am pretty positive it is just lens flare from the camera they are using. You can see it throughout the video and it follows wherever they are filming.

Oh... so I guess that’s why it’s so loud. They are out on a balcony?

Also listening to that video, it sounds like the shooting was coming form the Janet airline airfield and echoing off the mandalay bay to me.

I also watched it -- countless times -- and AT FIRST I thought it could be due to the camera...but then I noticed it DOES NOT follow the camera.

It does its own thing.

Yes.

I don’t think it’s likely related to this but in the scanner they mention having snipers in place at one point one time. Could have been a bluff I suppose since this was on an open channel. But I’ve wondered if they could have done that (put them in place) via helicopter. Especially in light of people that claim to have seen (in videos) military gun-equipped helicopter in the area after shooting started. Then again, those ppl who claimed to see that were also claiming the heli was part of the shooting and I just don’t believe that so they may just have overactive imaginations. But search-and-assist helicopters I could imagine could have been used?

Are you looking at this on a phone? If you are you need to look at it on a computer monitor. Again, I am not being rude or smart aleck, I am only trying to point out what is going on.
If the light that is 'swapping' is the one on the slow-motion video of yours that is at the 6 second mark, that is not a swap but it is a trick of the eye, look at it at 100% and on a large monitor (to whomever) and watch that part. That is not a lens that is making it look like it is swapping it is the same principle when Vaudeville acts danced and made it look like they were swapping knees, if you remember that trick.

On the light itself, again, at 100% and on a large monitor, what we see is one light (glare) that dances around and is ALWAYS on the SAME PLANE. (I'm not yelling, I am emphasizing) If it were any kind of light other than a reflection, be it a flashlight, a sniper's red dot, or whatever, it would follow the contours of the land. If there was a wall it would appear to change course and follow that 3-D wall onto the ground, etc.
When I watch this at 100% on my monitor I see that every time.
There's nothing at all out of the ordinary here really, I wish it were, I mean I wish that this was earth-shattering and would help solve all of the puzzles that are going on. I 100% think that what we are being told is not the truth, and by that I mean that nobody but the authorities know what is really going on, so I agree with that part.
Remember, I am not being a jerk here, I'm only trying to point out what I see, and, if I am proven wrong I will apologize to all.

There are two towers right behind the concert Skyvue an abandon project. But easily an area where a shooter or shooters could have hid...that is if they could have gotten to the top. Doubtful though

And, no...I have to disagree with you. I can see it cross over BEFORE it eventually hones in and swaps places.

One more point...

IF that is a sniper, or some kind of a light that is supposed to be used in some kind of a tactical move, they need to get a new job, that is the jerkiest light I have ever witnessed. With a LASER you can make it dance around fast, but you have to make it do that, try to. If you are trying to search and pinpoint 'something' then even a newbie sniper/shooter wouldn't make the rifle (whatever) move in that fashion.
It's also not a flashlight either due to it being on that one plane I mentioned earlier.

Yep. So weird...if that is the only obvious explanation!

Another thing to think about is the size and apparent brightness of said light. Certainly not a dot.
