Wouldnt it be cool if there were new turbine designs out there that the public doesnt know about...

Have you visited the aviation forum here yet. Some good threads to read.

Do you think the only time we may ever see these black aircraft in public is a world war three scenario and america is on the back foot, i just dont see them showing their hand unless they absolutely have to.

Yeah bud i do, long time lurker, been here about 10 years. I know about scramjets and such from avaition threads and air force jets have thrust vectoring now, its the public jets i dont see any design progress in.

Are you aluding to pulse detonation and ion enhanced engines... Anyways we drifting off topic here.

Wasn't it someone from Rockwell that said we have black projects that are on par with what Gorge Lucas is showing in the movies?

Pulse detonation didnt pan out for things bigger than missiles.

We have something much much better. Does much more than just provide thrust. I aint going into it though.

Thanks for the link. Interesting story. One quote from Reid is especially interesting.

Las Vegas businessman Robert Bigelow, whose aerospace facility housed the UFO study team, says he signed a strict non-disclosure agreement and cannot discuss the findings. Reid says the study produced voluminous reports but was canceled because of fears within the intelligence community, fear not only that the story would leak out, but fear based on religious beliefs who felt that UFOs might be satanic.

His description does not seem to match the video.

I think the timing is extremely interesting. The release followed Oumuamua.

Can things get any stranger than that?

Then I read today that an oblong craft was spotted by some telescope in or around Orion.

As the Chinese say, "May you live in interesting times."

Well it was around for hours. maybe the piece they show wasn't the timeline he was recounting. Read Springers link.

Persons familiar with the five year study told the I-Team the effort resulted in three dozen thick reports, some of them several hundred pages in length, as well as another three dozen or so technical reports which projected how this kind of exotic technology might usher in a new era of aviation, and what that might mean.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong here, if Bigelow signed an NDA and these reports are in hands of his company, we'll never get to see them? Not even a FOI request is possible?

Is this what it's all about, giving the public a platform for research and 'redo' all the work?

(trying to look at it from another angle here)

Most amazing part was the speed of the object moving from 12,000 to 50 feet above the water in a matter of seconds. Forget the glare thing.

I am the original Tom DeLonge fanboy, author of this thread, massively invested in To The Stars Academy and convinced that alien spaceships exist and have visited earth.

BUT I have to admit that this is a very interesting attempt at debunking! Something in the rotation of the UFO seems just... well, unnatural. Grant Cameron comes to mind who keeps stressing "plausible deniability" as a guiding motive for the governments strategy. While I personally think it is unlikely, it could be that they on purpose chose a video that in the end can be explained as malfunctioning equipment. "Tentative disclosure" if you will: If the story gets out of hand, takes the wrong turn, it will suddenly be debunked through an official examination. If disclosure works as hoped for (no stock exchange crashes, no mass suicides of Abrahamic religion enthusiasts, etc.) they will reveal more.

It is a possibility. Thanks for the link!
