there is also a Parisian Hotel, a Pirate themed hotel, an Italian themed forum.

Latest report is 19 rifles in the room.

A man only has two hands

I have to agree. I don't think the number of rifles in the room is that important of a detail. I'm just reporting.

There IS a gun show scheduled in Vegas this week.
With 19 guns in the room, the guy could've been an exhibitor or dealer.

the maids said they didn't see anything suspicious in his room (all the arms) so he must had hid them in the suite...they did clean his room (I had wondered if he put up the do not disturb sign the whole time he was there, but he didn't)

now other personall didn't anyone see him bringing in these arms.....someone pointed out he got there before the event started...did he hide them in musical instrument cases.....that would not look suspicious with the event....he must have hid them in something..seems hard to believe he openly brought them up on those luggage dollies (he did take his stuff up by himself the hotel said)

Local shopping bags/packages would not look suspicious either. And when you disassemble them, take them in piece by piece. A rich man would not get a 2nd look having many shopping bags and such taken to his room.

I have stayed in a hotel, and carried a gun case up to my room. Its a perfectly legal and normal thing to do.
Lets look at the possibility that he tried to hide that he was bringing a lot of guns up to his room.
Guns come apart so that you can clean them. When they do they are much more compact than when they are all together.
He could have placed several guns in suitcases or hanging garment bags. Then he hangs them in the little closet of his room or places them in cases under the hotel bed or in draws in to the room. Lots of places to hide things in the room. Since it was a suite it would possibly even had a fold out couch that he could have hide 5 or 6 rifles in.

I am not sure what you want to say to me.

Edit: I think you like me though, just putting that out there.

Why would you need 19 rifles for this?
Why not just one rifle and a whole extra batch of ammunition for said rifle?

That says 1 of 2 things...

More than one shooter?

Or he is a grade a moron carrying about all this equipment for no good reason.

Anyways, speculation aside...
This is absolutely f*cking terrible news to wake up to.

Best wishes to those recovering.
RIP to the fallen.

CBS fires vice president who said Vegas victims didn't deserve sympathy because country music fans 'often are Republican'

This is one of the most disgusting, soulless reactions to the loss of human life a person can summon. She had to make it a political jab too. Is this really what gets people off?

And for every 'soulless' that publicly announces their joy about dead and maimed people, there are untold scores who rejoice clandestinely.

For all of you wondering how he got all his weapons in his room without staff noticing: when was the last time you had your bags checked by hotel staff? Ever?

I can easily fire 6 controlled shots in 1.5 seconds with one of my standard triggered semi auto AR-15's or AK-74's

yea right.

That's not too difficult my friend...

It depends entirely on what one defines "controlled shots" as. If the definition is "I meant to shoot six times and I did it" then no, it's not difficult.

If the definition is "I put all six shots in a tight group at any kind of reasonable distance" then it gets a little dicey.

I can go pick up just about any gun and put six holes in paper at 3-yards in 1.5 seconds. Doesn't necessarily mean they're controlled shots.

I would say hitting paper is enough control......if any of that paper is flesh then you have yourself a severe possibly fatal injury....Six rounds from a stock AR platform on steel at 10 yards in under a second in a half is not all that difficult.....No one said anything about sub MOA grouping at that speed and distance but possible to get all on target......

Exactly! I'm by no means a "trained shooter" but I can fire off the rounds pretty quickly---enough to make some people think it is an automatic weapon.
To be clear---the videos I've listened to that claim it was auto fire don't seem that way to me but I guess if you've never actually heard auto firing, it would seem that way.
When your target contains 20k people who are basically stationary or inside a venue, just spraying the crowd is highly effective. Likely that a lot of the injuries were from the panic.
My heart goes out to all those who must try to pick up the pieces and those trying to actually figure out what happened here. The first responders are in my prayers---gotta be the worst night of their lives.

Except the Egyptian one is right across the street.
Not saying its connected but given the occult characteristics that some of these events exhibit, its an interesting fact.

The people who do this always have way more guns than sense. They always have a ton of weapons.

Hello Politically Incorrect, I am a representative from CNN polling for opinions within the white supremacy field. I have three questions of which I’d like each of you to take a moment of your time to respond to.

1. Did you have knowledge of the gunman being an avid /pol/ user and white supremacist?

2. Do you align in his goals and beliefs regarding the extermination of minorities and Jewish Americans?

3. How has white supremacy affected the lens of which you view this tragedy?

Thank you for your time.

No agenda there

The concert was in the land lot opposite the Mandalay.
The Plaster sphinx in the theme hotel is not relevant imo.

Yes, if there are cameras that cover each floor.
It would be easy to determin if this could be what actually happened.

19 guns is equally as practical to 1 man as it is to 2. Either way it's way more guns than you need to do this. Doesn't really add any weight to the case for a 2nd shooter.
