Last Night A Car Did Something Unexplainable

Interesting tale. I hope you figure it out.

My experience was a little different, but still unexplained to this day. I was driving in New Mexico on a long stretch of two lane highway. It was approaching dusk. I had been behind the same pick up for about an hour or so. It was white with a big red stripe down the side. It kind of stood out against the natural terrain in the area. Hard to miss. As it got darker we both put our lights on. I could still clearly see the white truck and red stripe, and now his tail lights and head lights as well as his side marker lights. About 15 minutes later the truck slowly just kind of faded out and was gone. It was like someone had turned down the brightness dial on a tv. It was just gone. There were no turn offs. You could leave the road if you wanted to but the dust cloud would be very noticeable and would probably hang around in the still air for a little while. There was nothing. No lights. No tracks. No dust cloud. Nothing. I sped up about as fast as I felt comfortable going, which is saying something since I am an old school drag racer. I never even saw a glimpse of tail lights. I very highly doubt he out ran me so badly I couldn't even see his lights any more on that road at that time of night. Flat terrain, no large signs or other obstructions, straight highway, no street lights. I never did figure that one out.

Now? I know better... what you experienced could be exactly as you relay, or a joke or mistake ... or all at once and equally "real" ...

all I know is that I have no completely satisfying answers... to anything.

Fair perspective. Many skeptics really only become more open to the unknown and strange phenomenon when they experience it first hand.

Had a similar experience in 2009. My best friend and I saw a single bright light hovering and moving slowly. My friend flashed his flashlight at it 3 times, and whatever it was mimicked his 3 flashes.

We freaked out and ran into a bush. The object then became a plane with two standard red and blue lights.

Could it be somehow in the dark of night a car got ahead of the ones behind you? I've had one follow close to me where it was unsafe to even pull over to let them pass in an area. The car looked different when I could let them pass from I had perceived it to be initially, then again it was misty near the lake side road that went on for about 10 miles.

Cloaked and shifting into a different car and driver to disguise themselves?

That or a the Mandala effect timeline is speeding up? I'd assume that's from the close proximity of Nibiru.

a reply to: CreationBro very weird story. Made mw come up with a experiement to do tonight. My house is old. And in the early 90's a middle eastern couple owned it and the husband murdered the wife in the front yard then turned the gun on himself but failed. I have seen and heard some weird thing but I do not believe in that sort of thing. Despite my personal belief I had just completed a set of cameras set to low light and motion detection camera mode. I will turn them on at 3a.m. And leave them alone whilst I stay in my room with some wine.

You took your eyes off your rear view and 1 of 2 things, the sedan passed the FJ, hence got really close to you, and you failed to identify it. Or the FJ pulled off from behind you and the sedan started tailgating you, and you failed to identify it.

That what I'm thinking as well.

Not kidding.
It was an unsuccessful experiment. They are not very trainable.
What if there is some sort of analogy between advanced intelligences and their relationship to us.

Yes. Stuff like that happens.

People disappearing from view or popping out of "nowhere" You had a car behind you that suddenly changed. It happens. But it is often replied with ridicule. And there are youtube videos "100% concrete proof disappearing man!" but how hard can it be to edit the man away with a computer...

I'm not questioning your abilities to identify vehicles or what not.. but this occured at NIGHT with lights blaring in your face through your mirror. Chances are the car sped up behind you and quickly turned off. This has happened to me quite a few times. All it takes is a split second for events to change on the road, and I doubt you had your eyes glued to your mirrors the entire time.

If the vehicle behind you had backed off a few meters like you claimed, then perhaps that was the car behind the "FJ Cruiser" that was now further back because he had to slow down.

Someone passed the Cruiser and your mind actually thought it was still the cruiser and made the lights appear as if it was the Cruiser. That is normal. Most people do that occasionally. After thinking it over, the change in behavior of that driver, your mind opened up again and you saw it was a different car.

This same problem occurs in Witnesses in court, people actually do not always know what they saw. That is why our legal system is so intent on making sure that witnesses are real. Sometimes they will have five totally different descriptions of a criminal from five different witnesses.

Although I have no answer for you, I had a sort of similar experience back in about 2000 when I was stationed outside of Wurzburg, Germany, when I was in the military. I was driving a government mini-van at the time, and it was probably around 5am, well before sunrise, and we were on our way to go to "the field" in a different town. As we were driving on the autobahn, I was looking in my rear-view mirror, and I swear that I saw a car spinning out on the autobahn (it was raining at the time) and all of the cars behind that one come to a stop, as it was spinning across all of the lanes and appeared to have gone into the grassy divide between opposing directions of travel.

At first, I didn't believe what I was seeing, but as the next few minutes went by, there were zero cars behind us, whereas before there were plenty. I mentioned it to someone else, and they also noticed that there were not more cars following us. Of course, we couldn't just stop, as we had orders to be somewhere, so we kept driving knowing that there were plenty of people there to help if needed.

That's when I looked in my rearview again, and sure as sh*t, all of the cars were behind us again as if nothing had happened and that they had been there all along. Again, this sudden reappearance was verified by another Soldier who was with me at the time.

I've never quite figured that one out.

Could it be that the "LED" car behind you left the road and the one behind it floored the gas to overtake you but then, he noticed you both looking into the mirrors and thus hit the brakes? Kind of "they are getting my license plate..."-


Had a similar experience, when I was driving a friend of mine home. There was a car in front of us, we could see the headlights swinging around the corners of the road. Suddenly the car was gone. Just gone, lights out and that was it. We both went "WTF" at the same moment, I slowed down just in case there was an accident or if the car stopped with lights out (dangerous) but no signs, we even turned around in the next town and did the round just to look if it wasn´t an accident! I rode along the road with highbeams on, friend was swinging a high powered portable halogen lamp out of the side window (the big and heavy ones with handles). Nothing. Just gone.

We even scanned the road a second time when we turned around the second time to get on our way again.

Valid question, but no, i literally blinked (less than a couple tenths of a second) and it was a different car.

The road is extremely narrow and windy too, almost impossible to pass. Also, the car was very close to my rear bumper when it happened.

The FJ cruiser vanished.

The car headlights changed configuration entirely.

They went from two circular 6 inch ones to wide and thin, dual beam halogens.

Also, the FJ cruiser disappeared and the sedan replaced it in the blink of an eye.

If any more time had passed that i had been not paying attention, i would have crashed (windy road).
