The Shed 17

Hi again everyone!

I was thinking of tuning my avatar and background of it and such. So if avatar disappears, or looks very odd for some time, it is just me messing up. This avatar was hard enough for me to put there, and it is wrong size and i could try to make it more cool overall. I don't have a clear idea of what i am trying to replace it with, so i will browse the net with a few basic ideas for it.



Edit: Haha, i tried to put a good picture of northern lights as background but it need some serious resizing.



There, fixed the size. Phew, this stuff is not routine for me. I will replace the hockey player later. When i come up with something good.


nah, noticed it is still strange and bad there. I give up for now. It is not that important anyway, i just felt like doing something about my avatar and backroung.

I am feeling amused and learned. I wanted to share an article by The Guardian with all of you and this fits ATS too! I have these days quite strict source criticism but i somehow trust and respect Guardian.

Did you know that we have a dedicated team of ATS avatar enthusiasts, just waiting with baited breath to help sort out avatar design/resizing issues etc??

You go sort out stuff and have a nice time mate.
As for your "Man Cave" us girls and pixies will make sure it is cleaned up and rid of what ever it is that smells like leftover pizza every time you open the door. Your live collection of "Bats'" will "be taken care of" too.
I will personally tend to the wine cellar.

Fin, your new background theme is great and I concur with Gordi, we have fabulous avatar creators. So go use their expertise.

Hi WIS, not bad here. The usual monday stuff. Woke up too late, feeling lethargic, the room is a mess (but has been for at least the last month), the weather is cold and the beer is just in.

As for the lyrics, I think Fin nailed it. They allude to aspects of drug-taking, mind-set, "friends" and the choices one invariably makes while pursuing said lifestyle. It is not a happy song. Educational possibly.

She is so relaxing and ethereal to listen to .. happy you enjoyed. Let us know how the laundry machine fix goes.. I had the same problem ( unbalancec) and someone showed me how the feet were adjustable . My guess is the movement slowly unscrewed the feet and once you get them ALL screwed in max , you'll see which one needs a little letting down , if the floor is actually uneven. It's good you decided to wait for another adult to help with the lifting!

Good luck. Be well. Come back soon. I for one am not looking for a new room as mine is nicely padded and comfortable. I also have a kind of onesie in my room. I call it the "I Love Me Jacket". Other people call it a straitjacket but whatever, I like my room and name better.

It's fixed! For now at least! It's amazing how much stalls when laundry is halted!

I'm out enjoying the dry weather and railfanning right now. Perfect time to listen to some Led Zeppelin since tthe dispatcher has got me all...

You will be missed terribly while you are away Sir Gordi Of The Shed Lands! Do what you have to do. Your room will still be here when you get back. Maybe we will have the pixie carpenters build you your own personal bar for night caps.

GAH! I got all behind in here!

I missed the washing machine party last night. Sorry, it was one of those very painful nights for me where I didn't even feel like posting. Finally got to fall asleep and slept well. Feel so much better now.

Wis, Gordi has live bats in his room? Why didn't I know this? I love bats!

Fin, no wonder you exist here in our realm, your own Country doesn't even exist.

How is everyone doing today? Rainy and grey skies, but I feel good.

Just got home from picking my kiddos from school! Little boy is trying to climb me and my cat is curling up in my lap. And my kindergartener has to dictate to me "how to cook a turkey" for school as a Thanksgiving project.
