Lol! Leave it to a female alien to leave home without filling up her gas tank. This hoax is not only ridiculous, it is sexist. (Google maps is not the only source for satellite imagery.)

Or they can use google or an enormous number of other sites hosting Earth/Moon photos, and then run them through some dumb filter destroying them to the point of being untraceable without a huge amount of effort.

There is "tineye.com" which does reverse image lookup. it can recover modern day images, but not those images from the early days of the internet.

Many satellite operators will have their image sets behind a paywall. Some accept contracts to take photographs of specific areas.

What if someone simply had a drone shaped as a black triangle with an IR camera mounted on the middle. The red
centre light could be the LEDs around the night vision camera.

Apparently, a female alien, going by the name of 'Myziam', posted a communique on Reddit, claiming to have run out of "special fuel" as her craft passed the Earth. Her lack of fuel denies the craft the capability to reach the velocities required to get home, thus she awaits a rescue mission.

It's totally crazy and in my opinion, someone very creative has quite cleverly taken in a great number of people. The "alien" requests users to provide a set of co-ordinates and she, in turn, will post a picture...using her ship's camera...of the location from Earth orbit. Things get slighty strange as the co-ordinates come in and the pics appear. Apparently, the pics are not traceable through the Google pic search engine. One guy in Australia posted co-ordinates and managed to take a shot of the craft itself...although this suspiciously turns out to be the usual three lights on a triangle.

The "alien" was also asked to take pics of the Moon, which duly appeared.

It is a very long thread and, as expected, the usual genre of less than complimentary replies do appear but some users seem to be completely taken in by it. At the very least, the picture responses to the co-ordinate requests seem to be quite rapid. I would love to know how it was done.

Unless the "fuel" this alien is talking about is an energy source this is a lie because as far as I know (which I believe to know a good decent amount) traveling at velocities in space requires going faster than the speed of light. In order to do this you have to not only make your vehicle mass-less but also yourself mass-less. Fuel is abolished when it comes to space travel. An alien wouldn't call their energy source fuel. That's misleading and dishonest which aliens are not.

It´s a 4 monitor setup + google earth + photoshop.

The user:

1) scaled GE on all 4 monitors (or more)
2) Took a photo with an external camera
3) Loaded it in photoshop, used copy tool to drag some color over the frames
4) Then ran mosaic + line filter.

Totally obvious to anyone who has ever created textures with filters in photoshop. I can even see how the monitors are not aligned propperly...


Edit: It could also be black tape on a single monitor and it would even explain the color penetration.

I created digital artwork for years here is an example of Mars


I have images of earth too but I am not at my home computer. My point is this I could if wanted to reproduce images that cannot be traced from Google. I can make them both unique and original. Here is what needs to be done is look at the files of the images and you could tell instantly where and how they were created.
My other problem how where these photos transmitted to be uploaded, Interstellar Internet?

This is so obviously a bad troll/hoax that Occam's spinning in his grave that the question was even asked.
