Big Luther, if he has sobered up yet, probably thinks Trump's endorsement was pretty toxic too.

Dotard Trump is so caught up in appearances, and having to be seen as having been the one who always backs winners, he can't even say he stood on principle in his support for Strange and regrets that the best man for the job didn't win!

Yup. Seems to be all about appearance. He's spent so much time making shows, his entire life is mostly a show--an expensive one.

This is my impression of him. I realize he's owned a lot of real estate--some of the tallest buildings in the world. Maybe he's confused appearance with success in business, when it's only one small part.

He's a longtime real estate developer:
en.wikipedia.org - Donald Trump...

Holy, he wanted to rename the Empire State Building:

From 1994 to 2002, Trump owned a 50% share of the Empire State Building. He would have renamed it "Trump Empire State Building Tower Apartments" if he had been able to boost his share.

Truth has always been transient for Trump. Remember how many times he denied knowing/meeting Putin?

He's a man that knows that his core followers will support him no matter what he does ... as we see here.

i'm not doing any business in russia... except for the trump tower i'm trying to get. but i didn't get it, so it doesn't matter, never happened.

no one in my campaign met with any russians... except my son and my son-in-law but they only talked about adoption and not hillary secrets and anyway we didn't get any secrets (that you know about) so it doesn't matter, never happened.

reality is made of silly putty these days...

It really is something peoples obsession with his tweets. A most fascinating living social psychological case study of the modern civilian here in the United States of Social Media. Rock on!

This is the equivalent of a little boy sneaking a cookie, breaking the cookie jar by mistake, and then duct-taping it back together.

When the mother notices and points it out, all of you say "Why is his mother so obsessed about cookies"?!

What you didn't get from my statement was that everyone all obsessing about the tweets is the Big Story regarding Trumps Tweets. He's playing a big game called trolling and scores of people are the marks; Like millions. It's like a state of the art game show; the ultimate augmented reality video game from his end. I'll bet that subconsciously speaking something like half of the fervor (in everyone obsessed with it) is driven by a bizarre sort of jealousy that hes the one who gets to have all the fun / it was his idea first / etc.

I interpret deleting a tweet to imply a certain amount of regret, or recognition that you said something dumb, but nothing more than that.

I mean, anyone who is under a hundred years old knows that anything you say on the internet does not go away, ever. If you seriously think Trump is trying to erase history, then you really should see a psychologist to be treated for your obsessive-compulsive disorder.

To me, I see it as being dishonest. He tweeted what he did and it's on record. What purpose does it serve to delete them? Does he regret what he posted, for whatever reasons, and wants to take it off his account?

I'm not sure, but I look at it the same way as someone editing their posts on ATS after they were proven false or they embarrassed themselves.

In such cases, I like to leave them up and admit I was wrong or take my lumps as necessary. To do otherwise is, well, dishonest.

Really ?
The President of the United States had a bit of an Ooops moment and instead of doing what any honorable person would do and accept it happened and move on he deletes the evidence .... like no one would notice.

Pretty shady action but I'm not surprised some will defend him regardless.

Defend him???? Why would he need defending for deleting tweets?
Good lord.

Next, he'll have to defend himself if he picks the wrong team in a Superbowl or something.
I must say though - this is so shady.

By Jove I think you've got it.
Truly terrible behaviour.

A 70 year old man should hold higher standards of communication than trolling.
But whatever.
Trumps deranged bootlickers will claim that there is some huge master plan behind every fckup of his.

Agreed. The obsession is pretty funny. Slow news day...lets write about Trumps Tweets....or deleted tweets....great reporting and journalism....hard to believe any self respecting journalist would even give thought to the idea of writing about a tweet.

Yeah who writes threads revolving around tweets and Trump...

No one self respecting that’s for sure...

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Oh...
Well this is awkward, is it not?

... and Vasa was never seen in the thread again.

Typical response from Trumpettes, his tweets don't matter unless its something they want to spam. Trump retweets a meme and they go crazy saying how great it is.

Also telling is how absent his usual defenders are from this thread, even they can see how embarrassing this must be for Trump.

More people trolled by Trump I see. Have you guys not figured out yet he enjoys pissing people off?? Had an uncle the same way he would do anything if he knew it irratate's you. Reality is Trump likes to keep people talking about him. As the old adage says there is no such thing as bad publicity. The more he gets people to pay attention to what he says the better.

You guys are being played by an idiot . But alas keep playing the game if everyone just ignored him all those stupid tweets would stop.

I don't think he's done this to troll people I believe he's done it because it's an embarrassment , once again he's made a statement that is not backed up by reality.
"Luther Strange has been shooting up in the Alabama polls since my endorsement,"

He's called on people in his heartland to support his chosen one and the call fell on deaf ears , his personal endorsement was rejected and the Donald doesn't react well to rejection.

Do you even know what this thread is about?

I'm not sure how this can him trying to p1ss people off, he backed someone, they lost, he's embarrassed to have backed a loser so he deletes the evidence.

Could it be that its a non story? NOPE! It's all that zany stuff and then a bunch more too!

He's trolled you guys into being celebrity gossip obsessionism queens and you all think the big story is the deletion of this tweet or that.

The bigger story is that people seem happy that their President is nothing more than an internet troll.

Set the bar a little higher.

Or more like a lot people probably dont care that much, I mean look at the "story" here you guys are harping about. The reality here is that you guys would start these cockamehme outrage threads about how he has his steak or what kind of ice cream he eats. Meaning you guys are the real show in such a thread. Meaning you guys just cant see how its you guys whom are the suckers. I mean for starters, no one even cared about the original tweet. Meaning we didnt care when it was deleted. I mean do I have to spell this out for you? Shall I go on?

On the contrary , Trump trolled you guys by backing Strange.

Corker personally talked President Trump into coming to Alabama to campaign for Strange, several press outlets reported.

“Luther Strange’s election is so important to Bob Corker because the last thing he wants is Judge Roy Moore in Washington asking uncomfortable questions about his sweetheart deal in McGowin Park on behalf of Mobile, Alabama taxpayers,” one veteran Republican political operative tells Breitbart News.

It's nice that the President is willing to put his reputation on the line and help out a friend in need,
How's that draining the swamp thing going ?
