It appears that Ted Cruz is not the only one who is lonely those nights.

After searching through his Twitter feed of Bible verses and Florida State University football clips, The Orlando Weekly found that Spano’s account had “favorited” a tweet back on January 8 from the "Goddess Lesbian" Twitter account, which features a video clip from adult entertainment company Reality Kings.

www.newsweek.com...

As some of you know Sen. Ross Spano has proposed a resolution recognizing porn as a health hazard.

Does Florida have a pornography problem? State Rep. Ross Spano thinks so.
That’s why the Dover Republican proposed a resolution that would recognize pornography is creating a “public health crisis” in the Sunshine State.
According to the proposal: “The public health crisis created by pornography and acknowledges the need for education, prevention, research, and policy change to protect the citizens of this state.”

floridapolitics.com...

Now he is doing damage control, "trying to figure out" how it happened in the first place. Hmm. Should we believe him? With all the sex scandals in the GOP, I wouldn't put it past him.

I for one love living in a puritanical country, where separation of church and state is a thing, yet so many still obviously wish it wasn't.

I don't care if you want to look at the mating rituals of sediment, it's your business and yours alone. Frankly, if this "politician" is so moronic as to have a stance against pornography but "likes" it on twitter.... let the laughter directed at them be their political assassination.

When are we Americans going to actually grow up, even just a tiny bit?

Uh, I think that's the purpose of this thread. Only I don't think it's funny. Just sort of pathetic.

I think part of the point is the sheer hypocrisy and double standards. I don't care if people watch or like porn, but if they try to deny the right to porn to exist or the right of other people to view or purchase it, while also viewing it themselves, it's a problematic double standard and these people are slime.

Similar to a someone trying to outlaw alcohol or prevent people from consuming, only to drink themselves, denying rights to gays while being a closet homosexual, and so on.

Essentially, it wouldn't be a problem if these people weren't #n hypocrites about these things.

Obviously he was doing extensive research to justify his bill and clicked it purely by accident.

After all, they always need examples of a problem to show it's truly a problem right?

Extensive research?

Then he should now have a Doctorate in Pornography, then, right?

It's really hard to accidentally access porn and I would know.

Weird, isn't it? Here I am, drinking wine, browsing ATS and eBay, and suddenly porn just randomly pops up and starts playing.

I mean, what?

Wow! Your wife isn't viewing eBay with you, is she. If so, maybe it is bedtime for the both of you.

Well, I'm not married, but someone's wife was here, and she definitely wanted to jump in bed, so...

Sooo.... your point? Yes, I was giving my own $.02 of thought towards this. And it just so happened to be in agreement with the OP.

Is that not acceptable?

Thank you. I got the point, from my own reading of it. And it only took me 1.0803048989 times reading it to get it correct

I don't think you caught my point, which went far more to the source rather than focusing on the hypocracy which is only a symptom of the problem in the first place.

One word to describe him... "idiot." I'm sure he's not the only "idiot" among federal, state and local lawmakers across this country.

I caught it very well, thanks, just adding an expansion.

From personal experience, they like to lust over what they hate.

Love privately, punch publicly.

I blame society for forcing these kinds of hypocrites to do these kinds of things. If the puritanical culture he is trying to perpetuate didn't exist, he'd be free to live how he liked without a machismo act to cover it up.

The OP say '“favorited” a tweet back on January 8'. I think it takes a bit more "research" than that to make a big deal out of this.

I don't tweet so I can't say what that amounts to. Can you watch porn on Twitter?
