I've gotten over my f bomb shock and am really enjoying the series.

I am waiting for Stamets (the astromycology science officer) to turn into a hybrid human/tardigrade more and more with east new episode.

Interesting that the Captain sleeps with a phaser close at hand...as the mirror universe folk did.

I did read rumours about the Mirror Universe being in Discovery. It was in TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise.

To me, it is a pretty clever way of doing it.
