This thread was actually not the worst I've seen, no where close.
I'd say the negative response was incredibly tame and underwhelming.

I really posted this in hopes a certain someone was still reading along here at ATS and would confirm this for me so I'd personally know if there was anything to it or if I'm going way off my rocker.

And she just rocked my world, again.
Like she always does.

I didn't "later" remember them upon wakening. It was like I never forgot them.

Okay, so now I retell an 'outdoors' tale...

I awoke one night on my knees, hands clasped in front of me (like in prayer) just as the sky 'closed' above me. I couldn't believe I was right there where a homeless guy died the night before. I remember parking my truck there because it was where I usually did behind the abandoned building.

I parked earlier, got out and walked the few feet to where he died the night before of a heroin overdose. I said, sorry bro, anything I can do let me know, then went to bed in the back of my truck.

When I awoke in the middle of the night outside my truck, I realized I had sleep walked there, was kneeling and praying, something was occurring over my head, a portal closed, I saw it.

I stood, struggled back to my open camper shell, crawled in, shut the door and went back to sleep. The next morning I was pretty freaked out, wondered a long time what that was...

The only thing I could come up with was some kind of 'passing' ritual, sending someone's spirit thru some door to somewhere else, something I was part of, but not aware of, until the very, very end.

I mean, if 'they' didn't want me knowing anything about that, why not send me sleep walking back to my truck oblivious, the same way I got 'brought' out? Why wake me just as the 'door' or 'portal' closed and I'm there on my knees going huh, what?

Very definitely a weird experience.

ETA: The sleep walking part was very real, I awake outside my truck. It was cold, my pants knees were wet from the ground. Try as I might I have zero memories of what occurred during whatever happened, while I was asleep.

If I had to I would say I was just witness to it, not actually 'helping'. But I agree, because where this man had just died, it had something to do with his soul passing.

I'll be honest muzzle.. I read your OP minutes after you posted it and refrained from responding until now. I don't want to disrespect you or discredit your story, because apparently it's doing a lot for the members here, but I will say I am pretty skeptical of your account (not because I don't believe in abductions, because I do). That's so subjective really if you think about it.

Even if I took a lie detector test (which I will if anyone wants to pay for it), they'll still keep saying it doesn't count. They'll say I learned how to outwit the test bla bla.

So really, in the end, just grab a barrel of salt and then try to enjoy ATS for what it is. It's a madhouse.

The-- whatever it was, was brightly lit, not dark, in an otherwise dark night sky. It went out, closed, whatever, just as I awoke and became aware of it.

Yes the place was 'haunted', an old rail hub for shipping walnuts, disused and abandoned along the tracks. We used to hear 'tinkering' noises inside, other people told me they were kept up at night by the sound of someone 'working' inside. I had heard that too, dismissed it though, because thats what our minds do.

This , I couldn't 'dismiss'.

If you don't mind, I'd like to ask a few questions:

1. Why were you sleeping outside? What were you sleeping on and were you covered by anything? (Porch or awning?)

2. Have you suffered from PTSD or anything of the sort?

3. Did you have the taste of vomit in your mouth when you "woke up"?
