I don't really watch commercial tv so I wouldn't know.
I read a lot. I choose movies I want to see on Netflix and I sometimes watch old tv shows on YouTube.
I'm big on how to and DIY videos too.
I've never even seen an episode of Modern Family or the Family Guy and I know they are popular.
The last time I watched a tv show with any regularity was Charmed and that ended a long time ago.

I think everyone, both left and right, is tiring of listening to Hollywood's impish temper tantrums. So many of these idiots -- Steven Colbert, Samantha Bee, Alec Baldwin -- have made it their full-time job to bash Trump, failing to realize that it wasn't the Russians that elected him, but the American people ... the same people they think they are entertaining.

They aren't finding it comedy, noone laughs its only oddball cackling and confusion.

Noone is picking on the guy they are just desperately trying to make people believe he is a fool...and it is so poorly done they have lost almost all of their viewers...even democrats are tuning out.

One probable cause is the recent paradigm shift from
TV watchers to internet users.

Another is the growing general sense of mistrust of
everything mainstream media presents as news or
entertainment.

I'm an innocent bystander to the Trump/Hillary
debacle, amused by the hate for Trump which is
spewed non-stop by the general media (moreso
than for any other president since Nixon.) But it's
getting old to the point where it isn't
fun anymore...

on a side note: 60 million people voted for Trump,
but I assume some significant portion on them actually
voted AGAINST Hillary rather than FOR Trump.

I dislike Trump as much as the next person but my goodness. When are people going to learn that kicking dirt in someone's eye is no way to express yourself. There are better way of combating what anti-trumpers dislike. Running this man into the ground helps no one's cause at all. It only feeds the opposition and alienates good people on all sides of the issues.

Hold him accountable but respect the office. It just reflects poorly on all of us regardless.
