He also showed up in my college (CSULA which stands for California State University Los Angeles) last year and while he was speaking on the auditorium, many SJWs were outside calling him a racist and even committed violence against some conservatives.

Here are SJWs protesting against Shapiro:

Ben is a savage. I remember when he was on Dr. Drew with a liberal panel debating transgenderism, and the only valid arguments they could come up with was to physically threaten him with violence.

This is the mainstream left in a nutshell.

And yet you ignore the Fundies.

Ben doesn't understand the difference between sex and gender ... but he "won the debate"?

Riiight. Declare victory because you're ignorant; this is the fringe right in a nutshell.

The "fundies" aren't on mainstream television, magazine covers and news media 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, hammering propaganda into the public and telling me how to live my life.

Yeah no one else is either, and if they were .... are you saying you're not strong enough to ignore them?

Wait, was someone complaining about being hurt by words earlier?

Nope, not really. At least not until the liberal media made a stink about him during Hurricane Harvey. Did you hear about him before 2 weeks ago? Cause I didn't.

Good deflection. I'll give you that one.

It's not a deflection, it's a fact. If you're saying religious fundamentalists have as much power in the mainstream as Hollywood and the liberal media, your delusional.

I guess you are young. I guess you never heard of Jerry Falwell and his dealings with Reagan.
You got a lot to grow up.

I didn't say you had to like it, only that if you are calling yourselves the very beacons of tolerance and diversity, you allow for its existence alongside other forms of thought.

Remember, tolerance and acceptance are not synonyms, but you are a smart person, and I shouldn't have to remind you of that.

No one is forcing ANTIFA or anyone else to attend Ben's speech. All that they need do is allow him to speak.

Of course they should let him speak, but they get to say they don't like it... with their words not fists. We are a very divided nation at the moment, sometimes... often it's going to involve shouting.

I've done some additional research and thinking in the last 12 hours or so. I stand by my belief that anyone on the extreme "right" who goes to Berkeley is going primarily for press coverage ... but, in the more famous cases so far, Milo, Coulter and now Ben Shapiro ... they're entertainers. They thrive on negative press; it helps them, as do the protests of their presence.

I used the word "agitator" to echo the standard buzzword that those on the "right" use to describe any protesters they don't like or agree with. I did so to emphasize that the use of the word is flippant and non-descriptive ... and it's use angered some other members and distracted from the discussion.

That really wasn't my intent, and anyone who bothers to know me, knows that I think that Shapiro should have the right to speak anywhere he's invited to speak. The residents or in this case students at the place someone like this is speaking have the right to express their displeasure, even vociferously.

IN all these cases, however, on any and all "sides" of the issues ... attacking others physically or damaging the property of others is wrong and should be dealt with according to our legal system. Also, neither side has the right to incite or assault the "other side."

I wanted to apologize to you, Xuenchen, for distracting some in your thread. Thanks.

All the smug little elitist snowflakes and the mental group tugs ...

Another "right-wing" agitator goes to Berkeley in hopes of getting a reaction out of someone (planted) in the crowds so they too can get their 15 minutes on Hannity or Rush or whatever bloviating mass will have them.

You're finding out that the violence genie that you all let out of the bottle at Tea Party protests and that matured at the Trump rallies last summer is bearing gifts you don't think you like so much: openly marching Nazi thugs being physically confronted with anti-fascists thugs on the streets of America.

IF there are any innocent folks in Berkeley, I hope they're safe at least. The two "sides" can wipe each other out.

Just so you know, this is the type of post that you boo hooed about. Antagonistic, partisan, arrogant, ignorant, all rolled into one.
