I think it would be better if your OP stated something like, "look at this nutter. What a stupid idea she has" but instead you go for the all too tired "it's a liberal" agenda trope. Step back and take a breath.

Hasty generalization is an informal fallacy of faulty generalization by reaching an inductive generalization based on insufficient evidence—essentially making a rushed conclusion without considering all of the variables. In statistics, it may involve basing broad conclusions regarding the statistics of a survey from a small sample group that fails to sufficiently represent an entire population.[1] Its opposite fallacy is called slothful induction, or denying a reasonable conclusion of an inductive argument (e.g. "it was just a coincidence").

Once again, I did not claim it eas true, which I hoped would have evident from my purposeful use of the terms "reported" and "reportedly". I did say it is the sort of thing that has come to be expected from a certain grouping.

They scour the internet (newschicken.net???) searching for obscure stories that would normally never see the light of day, and scream like Chicken Little. Bless their little hearts. It gives them something to do I guess.

I hate to sound like an old fart, but this is all because of the internet. This group, like all these other crazy groups on the left and right, are small fringe groups that , 20 years ago, we would never even know they exist. Now with the internet they spread their BS around the world and some get the same media coverage as world leaders.

No, I can't testify to your mental state or even the existence of one.

I'm commenting on your posts.

See how that works?

Sure ... when they're not dating all those strong, beautiful, smart women that think they're so ...

Sorry, I was struck by uncontrollable laughter there and couldn't continue.

They're also trying to get out of spending money on Father's Day cards and gifts. I know someone like that. She even thinks Christmas is a money making holiday for greedy corporations. Never buys gifts for anyone. Just a hug.

Sure, this stuff is on the internet, but it's not the internet that's spreading it. It's people like the OP.

And the hits just keep on coming.

Add another piece of evidence to the claim of sexist nonsense spewed in this discussion.
But you know what, I don't care what you call me... Racist, homophobic, pro life, bigot, whatever alphabet contraption of yours. I don't care. Because what are they ? A platform built by you to position us to attack us . Without it, your just blathering into the wind.
I'm not afraid of bananas or Antifa, nor do I take these problems seriously...

"Instead of standing for something, today people define themselves by what they stand against. And this never leads anywhere good, no matter who does it".

in all honesty.......... I believe another member said that. I only participate here because it's so ludicrous and it's still early.

Now ia all seriousness do you think this little tirade's going anywhere ?

Oh ps. Gryph, nothing personal... just so you know.

Ever noticed how this crap usually comes out of the mouths of women that no man can get drunk enough to be with .

How could anyone who says crap like this EVER be accused of sexism.

How unfair.
I think, if you look at thr history of liberal PC, he would actually be guilty of lookism, not sexism. He said nothing negative about women in general about women. He made an observation about ugly womens' activities. Lookism. Sound ridiculous? It's a real thing, and guess what? It's a liberal thing.

I have no problem with getting rid of both mothers day and fathers day. They are just moneymaking scams that businesses made up anyway. I don't think either should be replaced with anything myself, it will save consumers hundred of millions of dollars a year. I hate taking the wife out to dinner on mothers day, she is not my mother yet I have to buy her things.

We can keep Christmas, once a year receiving gifts of things we really do not need is all right.

Maybe getting rid of Halloween would be good, although the people selling costumes and candy and the dentists may disagree.

Should they be excluded from celebrating their fathers?

Good ideas. Hows about every statue we take down, every other holiday we do away with ..... we get a paid holiday at work.... government guaranteed....

I agree that "this sort of thing has come to be expected from a certain grouping (sic)"
The Crazies. Not liberals.

Some liberals are part of the Crazies. Some right wingers are part of the Crazies.

That said, the Crazies are a group unto themselves and for some odd reason these days I see more and more people listening to and repeating the CrazySpeak to further their stereotypes.

I think it is safe to say we could all pull up a thousand "zany" stories of the idiots who are a vast majority of the worlds population. Sometimes they are pretty funny to read, but rarely.

Stupid people now have a forum to speak. Before they just muttered to themselves. Let's acknowledge that instead of lumping in millions of people in with a couple people who are out to lunch. It makes for a more educated discussion.

Oh, OK.

Liberalism then.

If we can't all be included, then we should exclude.

Since some children don't have fathers, then no one should celebrate their fathers in order to make sure that those without don't feel bad.

As for fathers? Screw 'em. They aren't that important. Amirite? And don't mention to me those families who are just children and fathers. We won't factor them into our magical exclude/include equation when deciding who should feel bad and who should't and whose feelings are more important.

Talk about who gives a rats @ss about the concept of family, as in father, mother, children. And generally, liberalism doesn't because any group is a family now or hadn't you missed that?
