No footage or explanation of the departure...so that is a huge red flag for a UFO hoax.

It could be CFI, a balloon that is somehow floating still for 10-15 minutes, which is possible, or it could be something that has to do with the wild fires happening in Los Angeles, largest fires in LA history.

Nope. If you look on the page before this one, you'll see that another citizen in that area filmed it for 30 seconds, while he was driving down the freeway in San Gabriel Valley.

The guy's own video was already out, there is also alternate video of the same thing ...out, if everybody looked at the thing at all in each of the videos, it is pretty obvious that something is there, is probably heavier than air, possibly semi-rigid to rigid, possibly a spherical drone with all the control/s you see in a quad, or even just a semi-rigid balloon with an anchor kite attached that has a mundane purpose like pest control over a specific area.
It's definitely not something to get your knickers in a twist for...unless maybe you're a helicopter pilot.

1. Round nondescript object in the sky filmed at a distance.

Yet we constantly ask for more corroborating footage of anomalous objects and when we get it, we also get pointless, non-contributing responses like yours. Number three is clearly a different source and provides an even better, closer and clearer view of the object [and the helicopter] than the video in the OP.

Unless someone comes along and definitively identifies what that object was, then it remains...a UFO.

What we have is existence of god, intentional placement which is the only one of trillions that could host any life forms. The only one that could, we have.

I interpret this as saying life on earth is the only life that could happen.

But this contradicts the rest of your post.

There is at minimum 1 life form in each of those galaxies. Given the chance. Then you stop questioning why there is meaningless empty space. We have beings on planets experiencing life, and that space is neccesarry to allow it to even happen.

This is clearly saying that there is life and being on other planets.

I think you mean it the other way, similar to a child asking, 'why do dogs have to hunt rabbits?', in that kind of question. Because god is blanketing everything in the deepest heart.

It looks like the object was seen in the San Gabriel - West Covina area, now we only need to know if it was seen in other places and where did it go.

To be fair, i used the wrong word... I should have said evidence. I just didn't expect people to be so pedantic. But I forgot where I was...

But hey, proof that it was observed by multiple people, proof that it actually happened (irrelevant of what it turns out to be). Visual confirmation from various angles, various people. For the most part, it helps to seperate itself (as an event) from claims of being a fake perpetrated by one person. I mean, it IS a UFO right? Unidentified... flying... an object.

The sighting was much longer than 10 to 15 minutes. And the last video shows it drifting away towards the airport / downtown. He even says so, and you can see it's an angle further away, when a 2nd helicopter (or the 1st one returned) is now following it.

In this video, a guy accidentally photographed a very similar looking sphere. Go to 14:00 - 14:30 for the best view of it.

I wonder if the black thing on it could be some kind of hatch. Near the end of the video in the op, it seems to protrude a bit from the sphere (where the guy filming says it looks like it's hatching something). There are several video's on youtube showing a large orb spitting out smaller ones. I'm looking for them now, and will post if I find anything resembling this one. Maybe this one was getting ready to send something out towards the helicopter? Just speculating, of course!

Lets for a moment assume it was a balloon.

Two questions.

1) Has anyone provided any evidence of it being tethered to the ground ?

2) If it was a balloon it would appear to be quite large. Are balloons of that size allowed to be let free to drift ?

As the movement of the object was quite limited i would assume that my first question would be more appropriate.

wow, how long has it been since we had a ufo thread get to 11 pages?
broad daylight, multiple video sources, right off the bat we're as close to ruling out CGI or hoax as we can be in the year of our lord 2k17..
simply doesn't get better than this

as to what it IS... obviously as an alien vessel it's.. a bit lackluster, but it definitely doesn't seem to be a balloon or a drone...
is anyone else flipped out by how, for lack of a better term, solid and immovable it seems ?
there's just something about it that gives a real sense of weight in a way you just don't get in your regular garden variety 'balloon or ufo' vids and it's got me fascinated
