The media in the US is regulated by the government. It's called the FCC.

Media outlets are also regulated by the people. If CNN started saying that Trump was dead every day but it wasn't true then they would lose viewers. Fewer viewers means fewer sponsors. Fewer sponsors means less money. Less money means they go out of business. Capitalism 101.

He's the one that chose to use Twitter as a platform to insult and post the most inane stuff instead of turning it into something akin to a modern Fireside Chat. He's the one that chose to go off-script at a Boy Scout event and cry about how unfair everyone was treating him instead of acting presidential. He's the one that has turned the media against him through his words and actions.

The media are against him because he declared war against them.

Congress are against him because he has an approval rating that is rapidly approaching their own. They have mid-terms coming up and they don't need another reason for people to vote against them.

Throughout Obama's terms I saw people consistently state that he was just an underqualified community organizer. And yet that community organizer had no problem coming across as a President in pretty much every situation.

Trump on the other hand has spent almost his entire life in the limelight. Why in all that time has he not learned how to present himself? Why does he seemingly know nothing about PR?

Everything has befallen him he brought on himself. I would think that the so-called Party of Personal Responsibility would understand that simple fact.

Scientifically structured polls are perfectly fine when used for their intention: they show trends in public opinion.

They do not predict the future.

Trends in public opinion can change on a daily basis.

In CA it was a given that Hillary was going to take that state so Trump didn't waste his time there. So when CA gave Hillary 4.5 million more votes than Trump where was the surprise? Hillary got 55 votes from CA, that should have path her way to the white house, but a huge chunk of the rest of the country said nope...

I know that Joe Arpaio closed sexual assault cases before questioning the suspect. Looks like Trump did the wrong thing by pardoning him.

Kind of like the majority of the country that said "nope" to Trump ... about 54% as it turns out.

Have you really looked at the state-by-state totals? There's more variation than you seem to think.

There were 4 candidates. Trump came in a close second. No candidate got a majority of votes. Even if Hillary and Trump went to a run off, Trump would likely have won.

My statement is simple fact. Approximately 54% of Americans who voted, voted against Mr. Trump.

Every single person in this country has the ability to think and act for themselves. They have power over their attitude, how they treat others, etc.

To believe some single individual has the power to tear a country apart is pure laziness in recognizing the ACTUAL problem.

To People who believe this BS...get a freakin grip and start truly thinking critically about your life and choices you make.

Whatever news disagrees with Trump, or paints him in a bad light, is fake news. Anything that makes him look good is not fake. This can change at any time.. so a network can produce nothing but fake news, but if they start kissing his orange butt, they will become quite legitimate. Don't people get that yet?
