Methodology
The Fox News Poll is conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R). The poll was conducted by telephone with live interviewers August 27-29, 2017 among a random national sample of 1,006 registered voters (RV). Results based on the full sample have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points.
Landline (422) and cellphone (584) telephone numbers were randomly selected for inclusion in the survey using a probability proportionate to size method, which means phone numbers for each state are proportional to the number of voters in each state. Fieldwork conducted by Braun Research, Inc. of Princeton, NJ.
Backing for a troop increase is greater among Republicans than Democrats or independents. Sixty-eight percent of self-identified GOP voters support increasing the number of troops in Afghanistan, but only 30 percent of Democratic voters and 35 percent of independents agree.

Didn't the polls promise us he wouldn't be president in the first place?
No, the polls gave odds based on projected voters.
With Trump coming in second place by numbers of votes (almost three million), the polls were pretty accurate; it was the electoral distribution of those votes that surprised everybody.
Since President Trump's declining numbers are NOT in any way tied to the economy, what keeps driving his approval down?

Hollywood and MSM have portrayed white man as racist bigots. It is almost shameful to be a white man in American these days. America was founded by white man on slavery and genocide and racism.

Come off it people. This isn't Trump being sabotaged by the MSM. This also isn't Trump "draining the swamp," or him tearing down things to rebuild, or whatever excuse you sycophants can come up with.
It's proof of what many of us have known since the election. Trump wasn't elected because he was Trump. Trump was elected because he wasn't Hillary.
Now those people that voted for him begrudgingly are getting fed up with his s***. That's also why his approval rating hasn't been above 50% in months.

Is it too much focusing on the NEGATIVES, by the Anti-America liberal media? Or, maybe Congress failing to support President Trump's primary campaign promises? Maybe he has everyone on pins-and-needles over North Korea? Could even be his bashing of Congressmen in his party, more than Democrat Congressmen. Or a combination of all of the above.

Why do you characterize statements of simple fact as "whining"? It is a fact that Clinton won the popular vote. NO ONE is or has been confused about how the President is elected. Yet every time the fact comes up ... someone does this little song and dance.
It's also a fact that Trump's win was one of the most narrow in EC history. It's also a fact that Trump himself along with many on the right literally did cry about the EC in 2012z
So drop the infantile dramatics. If you want to deal in facts, post some. Your summaries and opinions are not facts.
