Sure take California out. Hey let's take Pennsylvania out too.
What in hell does taking states out prove?
Oh yeah I got more votes if you don't count California.
How illogical.

Come off it people. This isn't Trump being sabotaged by the MSM. This also isn't Trump "draining the swamp," or him tearing down things to rebuild, or whatever excuse you sycophants can come up with.

It's proof of what many of us have known since the election. Trump wasn't elected because he was Trump. Trump was elected because he wasn't Hillary.

Now those people that voted for him begrudgingly are getting fed up with his s***. That's also why his approval rating hasn't been above 50% in months.

I believe it. Just go and talk to say 6-10 people and ask them. You'll find your answer... That way you can't blame media.. fake or not.. or polls.

The answer is there in opinions...

Now wait a minute.

Trump is a cancerous pock mark on the arse of humanity, and I would be amongst those cheering loudest if his Presidency ended early, provided whomever replaced him was a decent human being with a functioning moral centre. However, I must ask, just why the hell would ANYONE, regardless of party affiliation or placement on the political spectrum, vote for Hillary??

Shes a disease that the DNC needs to rid itself of, her and the rest of her centre right cronies!

He hasn't deviated much at all, % wise in approval.

Congress is less than 20% since like Jan 2013. They had high numbers in 2009. lol.

Plus it's a phone thing.

Methodology

The Fox News Poll is conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R). The poll was conducted by telephone with live interviewers August 27-29, 2017 among a random national sample of 1,006 registered voters (RV). Results based on the full sample have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points.

Landline (422) and cellphone (584) telephone numbers were randomly selected for inclusion in the survey using a probability proportionate to size method, which means phone numbers for each state are proportional to the number of voters in each state. Fieldwork conducted by Braun Research, Inc. of Princeton, NJ.

Which states did they call?

So, not much of a problem.

41% is higher than what he had on election day and he won.

Whereas another poll I saw has 68% approval of him sending more troops to afghanistan by self proclaimed GOP voters.

Backing for a troop increase is greater among Republicans than Democrats or independents. Sixty-eight percent of self-identified GOP voters support increasing the number of troops in Afghanistan, but only 30 percent of Democratic voters and 35 percent of independents agree.

www.politico.com...

Let's see what the poll says after Harvey settles down.

Didn't the polls promise us he wouldn't be president in the first place?

No, the polls gave odds based on projected voters.

With Trump coming in second place by numbers of votes (almost three million), the polls were pretty accurate; it was the electoral distribution of those votes that surprised everybody.

I know this was early in the thread, but I just have to correct things like this when I see them. This sorta explains the national vote, although it ignores all the national polls that had Hillary winning by a lot more than that. It doesn't explain how they got their electoral maps so wrong. Their electoral maps were based on state polls and had Clinton crushing him, and were waaaaaaaaaay off. So yeah, the only poll they got sorta right was the one that didn't matter because we don't elect the President that way. On the whole, their election predictions were atrocious.

Ya know what else is illogical? Continuing to whine about the popular vote almost a year after an election in which the popular vote doesn't matter.

If memory serves, the IBD poll is the most accurate consistently. It breaks polls by regions, not just nationally.

Since President Trump's declining numbers are NOT in any way tied to the economy, what keeps driving his approval down?

It's those damn liberals.
Their propaganda has finally found it's way into the hearts of patriotic Americans causing them to doubt our sent from heaven President.
God save America and God bless Trump.

Hollywood and MSM have portrayed white man as racist bigots. It is almost shameful to be a white man in American these days. America was founded by white man on slavery and genocide and racism.

Why do you characterize statements of simple fact as "whining"? It is a fact that Clinton won the popular vote. NO ONE is or has been confused about how the President is elected. Yet every time the fact comes up ... someone does this little song and dance.

It's also a fact that Trump's win was one of the most narrow in EC history. It's also a fact that Trump himself along with many on the right literally did cry about the EC in 2012z

So drop the infantile dramatics. If you want to deal in facts, post some. Your summaries and opinions are not facts.

Nope the only folks that have portrayed "the white man" as a stereotype are white men. There's nothing shameful about being White ... what's shameful is denying that racism exists and has been a problem in this country for a long time.

This is why I hope democrats stand by and let the Republicans have all their power for the next 4 yrs. Let them figure out how to pay for this disaster in Houston and the wars in the ME. The Republicans will just obstruct any funding a democrat wants. Soon they will run out of others to blame.

What movies are you watching? Last time I checked there's still a disproportionate amount of leading roles going to white males. If anything Hollywood still relies too heavily on the Evil Foreigner stereotype.

But feel free to keep regurgitating everything Breitbart tells you to.

I did post facts, they're just facts you don't like. The popular vote doesn't matter in our presidential election. The EC margin doesn't matter either. What exactly were you trying to imply with that? We all know what people are implying when they point that out, but I'll give you a chance to try to spin that one into something that matters.

And for the record, when people call it a big EC win, they're mostly referring to the fact that some projections had Trump struggling to reach 200 and not only did he win he broke 300. A big upset win may be a more accurate way to put it but this is what most people are talking about.

Trump will be President until January of 2021 unless he does something impeachable, which he hasn't yet and there's no indication he has or will unless you swallow propaganda. Are you arguing with any of these? The only ones being infantile are the ones clinging to the popular vote as some kind of consolation. Trump won, time some of you learn to deal with it.

While you are exactly correct, the people who I know that voted for him are fed up with how the media is acting and how the left in general are acting. While Trump says dumb things often, he hasn't had much of a chance to do anything to measure his ability as POTUS due to congress, the press, and the haters. But Pence will step in soon and all your worries will be over.

Is it too much focusing on the NEGATIVES, by the Anti-America liberal media? Or, maybe Congress failing to support President Trump's primary campaign promises? Maybe he has everyone on pins-and-needles over North Korea? Could even be his bashing of Congressmen in his party, more than Democrat Congressmen. Or a combination of all of the above.

So Trump's approval ratings are in the slump and it is possible everyone's fault BUT Trump's? Man... The cognitive dissonance on display here just hurts.

How about we try this explanation on for size? Trump is such a terrible leader/President that he has caused his own approval slumps because people are getting fed up with him even though he hasn't even made it through a year yet.
