Trump has been undermining the court system since he was a candidate. He clearly has no respect for it. Plus he is most likely doing this to strike back at all the criticism for his words on Charlottesville. Though this is just going to make more people hate him, or hate him even more. Watch, when he signs this, it'll blow up in his face and he'll be battling yet another controversy he created because he doesn't think things through.

Impeachment is looking more and more likely. I don't want to sound like one of the anti Hillary people who made a thread every week about investigations ratcheting up, and more people being indicted, but Mueller stepped things up last week and this week. Plus a couple more conversations have leaked that Trump was asking top members of the House to help him fire Mueller.

We may very well see an impeachment before the end of the year. But, if it doesn't happen by then I don't think it will ever happen.

Seemed like a reasonable justification to me. As it happens your opinion is irrelevant anyway, as is mine. The POTUS has the authority to issue pardons.

Looking at the case history, I think the real interpretation of 'right or reasonable' in this case would not only include a pardon but also the disbarment of the judge and criminal proceedings against said judge on corruption charges.
