Decide for yourself: 7 hour video of Boston protest

Some people have a life unlike me, and they didn't get to watch the Boston rally and protests.

There have been a lot of conversations on ATS about what really happened there.

So I figured I would make this thread to let evryone see what those of us that watched live saw.

I will point on my opinions, but I encourage everyone to watch for themselves.

Here is the thread of what was going on live.

Now the top video on the page was what almost all of us were watching. It was a sort of aggregate of on site camera peoples footage live.

But here is the youtube link to it.



Now at the bottom right of the video feed, you see a clock.

If you go through the ATS thread I linked, and look at the times of each post, they roughly match up with the time on the video.

(You have to allow a little time for peoplt to post what they ssaw. So If something ahppened at 12:30, the posts about it wouyld probably be at 12:32, but you get it).

I will go through on ,my next posts and put what I saw and time stamps, but again, don't take my word for it, view the thread and video.

You will notice that even though some of the ats members posting live were left leaning, they too were disgusted by the protestors behavior.

52:45- guy asking main stream news source to point out where the nazis are.

Around 57 to 57:30 - police tell press they are not allowed in the rally (this is insane btw, why wouldnt the press be allowed in, perhaps so people couldn't see there were no nazis there.

1:22:51- agitated man screams at guy claims he is defending nazis, guy says no he is not he is gay and defending free speech, crowd cheers as angry man accuses him of defending nazis and sayinng he won't deescalate. Notice how aggressive the protestors are to this guy.

The crowd over and over says his support of free speech is supporting nazis.

1:41:25- protestors at the gate where people would try to get into the rally yelling nazis go home. Not one nazi in sight. Guy says "We have a guy marching with a trump banner" camera guy says that doesn't make him a nazi. Crowd of probably over 100 people surrounds trump guy calling him a nazi.

1:42:00 - intensity steps up against lone trump supporter. People pushing him screaming telling him to get out as he is utterly surrounded. (remember Friday at Charlottesville, surrounding someone is violence.)

1:43:15 - camera man admits massive crowd is pushing (violence) trump supporter out. This is not a nazi, just a trump supporter. Why would all of these good people allow this to happen if they didn't agree with it?

1:44:00 - veterans group screaming no violence as Trump guy surrounded screamed at and pushed out.

1:45:40 - two or three trump supporters (one wearing an isreali flag) pushed out by group of hundreds of protestors.

Smells of psy-op.

Especially the barring of media. They wanted people to believe there were people to hate in the kiosk. They let the crowd seethe and then lash out knowing full well that it would make them look bad.

What was with all the pushing out? I thought the mobs were all about beating on people.

Great thread. It's odd that the majority of arrests were made after the whole Free Speech rally was already over. I'm really glad that i'm not in the U.S. right now. I'm planning to completely shave my head to show solidarity with my mother who is currently going through a rough time because of chemo. I swear if someone dares to look at her funny or drops any negative comment at all i'm going berserk on there asses.

I hope you don't mind when i leave this video here. It captures the mood really well.

Nice follow up on this. Maybe now people will see that the issue is more than just one sided.

1:52:43 - streaming says "this crowd is definitly looking for a kill." He says it would have been bad if a group of verteans hadn't circled the trump supporter and protected him. Again, we are not talking about 1 or two screaming. We are talking about hundreds sorrounding two trump supporters calling them nazis (one wearing an isreali flag) attacking them and pushing them out, while hundreds more watched and cheered. But this is love conquering hate I guess.

Imagine if the cops and vets had not been their like at Charlottesville, imagine what would have happend here.

2:09:00- girl discussing how evil US is, how good North koreans are. No one in crowd seems to dissapprove.

2:30:00 - Trump supporter surrounded by hundreds of people screaming at him. Crowwds screaming be afraid everyone hates you, get him out.

2:31:40- shows the "evil nazi" speaking at the rally, a black man complaing about Busshs and Clintons.

2:49:50 - woman speaking in front of crowd equates current sutuation to rise of the nazis in germany and saying we can't allow free speech or it will lead to gthat, crowd cheers (but this wasn't against free speech remember?) Says trump white supremacist and we need to shut that s*** down. Sat white supremacsist there today had to be shut down early.

Now we know from seeing the rally there were no white supremacists there. But this huge crowd cherring #ting them down because free speech will cause the Holocaust. This is disgusting, and the crowd cheers wildly. See, they have lumped Trump and his supporters in as white supremacist, and so therefore its neccessary to stop their speech to stop the holocaust.

Shes says the fight is right now in the city of Boston. She brings out a woman whos son was "murdered by the Boston Police dept". Says the police are what white supremacist look like (remember jsut moments earlier she spoke of having to physically fight white suprmacists). Thousands cheering.

Sats mayor and housing policies are white supremacy.

2:53:00 speakers says she knows people wonder why the police ate the enemy. Well because police love trump.

Imagine if they had not been led to believe that the rally was a white supremacist rally?

Imagine if media had been allowed in and people saw the signs (specially the anti-monsanto one) and the Indian guy on the bullhorn.

2:55:10 - Crowd angerly screaming nazi at someone. camera man admits protestors stopped many people from attending the rally (mob stopping people from free speech)

3:19:30 - they surround a Trump supporter again screaming at him.

3:19:40 - man comes right up to trump supporter and spits in his face. Trump supporting pleading to take it easy because there are women there. Hundreds surrounding him shoving and screaming. They are right up on him (remember surrounding people is violence)

Shouting go home, shame and other vile things I wont type here.

Don't know if this is it, but it was later reported that the people trying to leave the rally were surrounded and had to be rescued by police.

Watch this ten minutes and remember, this is love beating hate.

3:29:00 - now keep in mind who these speakers have already said are white supremacists, Trump, his supporters, Millionaires, cops, the mayor, etc. Here the speaker is talking about how the battle is life and death, and rather or not the klan lives and survives. Asks people to fight with her. (This is gearing people up for war. Is it any wonder they want to shut down any pro trump speech, and enct violence against trump supporters).

Again crowd cheered. Where are the good people saying this is going to far?

3:44:16 - by this time the rally is over, only the protestors remaain. Here we see them shoving back against a police wall.

Somewhere around 4:09:00 - camera man describes 20 or so rally goers that werre surrounded who wanted to leave and had to be saved by cops.

4:12:50 - surrounding another rally goer. Where are all of the peaceful people I heard about here coming to his defense?

4:15:30 - hundreds or maybe even thousands chant to remove rally goer as they push him out. Scream get the f out, whose streets our streets.

Love beating hate again.

4:19:45 - speaker taunting "where are they?" I assume they mean nazis. In other words, they know they aren't there, yet all of this violence occurs anyways.

They are laughing how they (I guess rally goers) needed a police fortress. (hilarious to use violence to silent people right?)

4:20:00 - they burn what I think is a confederate flag. Crowd goes nuts.

This got me thinking? When did the current NAZI talking point start?

Funny thought I had after talking to my Grandfather (a WW2 vet), I wonder how real NAZI think about these neo-Nazi and commies that are causing issues? I mean these so-called Nazi and antifa people reminded me of the stories about the Sturmabteilung.

4:42:47 - BKNAPPLE gets aggregate guy to say "Above top secret is not racist" on stream. ATS rejoices.

Real Nazi's are busy earning money by selling drugs and weapons. Though some Antifa morons pretending to be tough started to taunt the Aryan Brotherhood for some time now. I read on /pol/ that at least one Antifa member already died but couldn't confirm it was related. Unfortunately the anon provided no source to back up the claim.

Ill add here becausse I am already seeing the arguement; yes as those of us that watched live know, the aggregate that is streaming is called right wing news or something like that.

He was showing whatever streams he could get, not just right wing ones.

The fact that that is the name of the aggregate IN NO WAY somehow shows that what is being shown on the videos is somehow not accurate.

But I welcome any videoes from any side that paint a picture different than what these streams are showing.

The woman screaming "F Y for riding horses" made me laugh. Poor horsies though.

4:47:10 - speaker admits to being radicalized. says they are going to make revolution happen and calls for tearing down the establishment.

5:02:10 - says because the administration is white supremacist, she believes in the people.

5:03:44 - speaker goes off on the need to free aall people from prison and tear down prisons

5:08:30 Black Trump supporters is surrounded and attacked. Police must escort him out. He argues back agressively on his way out. Several protestors call this black man a "white supremacist"

5:20:30 - Guy saying black people were here first. Says they we are all united, we are going to take back the streets. Crowd cheers wildly says black lives matter. (eerily similar to what white nationalist say.)

5:23:40 - crowd yelling at police. Cameraman asks why the police took guy, guy on street says he hit the "nazi" with a sign (trump supporter I assume seeing as how I saw no nazi gear anywhere there) anotherguy says it was a punch.

I am done for now, maybe will do more later but going through all of that is a lot of work.

Now I have seen people all over ATS claiming this rally showed 40,000 people standing up to hate, or that it was peaceful, or that it was only against racism and not all trump supporters, or that only a small portion behaved badly.

I would ask them to show me where I was wrong in my analysis, and please post some of their own.

We now know that apparently not one nazi spoke at the rally, but look at had the protestors reacted.

We are entering a dangerous time.

My favorite moment of the protest was this statement....

"Our great country has been divided for decades.Sometimes you need protest in order to heal, & we will heal, & be stronger than ever before! want to applaud the many protesters in Boston who are speaking out against bigotry and hate. Our country will soon come together as one!"

Blonde chick had a Captain America t-shirt on. She clearly loves America more. Out-patrioted. But seriously, the reporter says people are upset because neo-Nazis were invited to be there. That's not *entirely* true but it's not *strictly* false either. There were people who are strongly associated with said neo-Nazis, including speakers from UTR, who were expected to be there. Aside from that, there were groups that were saying they were going to show up who weren't invited.

Boston free speech rally organisers say they fear far-Right groups could repeat violence of Charlottesville

Organisers of a free speech rally in Boston on Saturday are warning far-Right groups to stay away amid growing fears of a repeat of the violent clashes that led to the death of a protester in Virginia last weekend.

The national director of the Ku Klux Klan has said members are expected to turn out for the event, due to start on Boston common at midday.

He goes off on "show me the neo-Nazis" but had all the booked speakers shown up, she could have probably made a reasoned argument for the goat sacrificing "August Invictus." And of course, had any of the groups that were saying that members were attending, actually had members attend, there would have been neo-Nazis/white supremacists/etc there.

Not particularly unreasonable for people to fear the exact same thing that the organizer feared, is it?

That's a legitimate issue. The press should definitely have been allowed in. Was there no press allowed in at all?

I'll just stipulate that every other instance of people acting like assholes you cite is exactly what you say. I trust you to not make up things that aren't there. So now that we agree that at the Boston rally, no neo-Nazis actually showed up and that riled up people in a large crowd, expecting to confront Nazis, acted badly in a number of instances — what are you getting at here?

I don't want to try to guess or put words in your mouth. Please tell me exactly what you are trying to convey with this thread.
