Geostationary satellites dont orbit the Earth. They dont move around the Earth.

But do geostationary satellites orbit around the Earth? Can you confirm that they do?
If you dont then you automatically admit that geostationary satellites do not orbit the Earth like your friend did and that you were wrong the whole time.

You are completely wrong.
Geostationary satellites DO move around the Earth then?

If the earth is rotating and the satellite is following that rotation to make it look like its not moving from here on the ground when looking up and seeing it then its moving around the planet at the same rate as the planet is rotating.
Rofl. Its not moving around the planet. Its moving through space and is in synch with Earth rotation. Hence it doesnt move around Earth. If it did it wouldnt be geostationary.
Rofl.

I've got to say, you are by far the most persistent troll I've ever seen on ATS and I've seen Turbo create an entire thread about how John Young was on the moon without wearing the gloves on his space suit and the proof provided was a picture of John Young on the moon wearing his space suit gloves.

but by some form of magic you seem unable/unwilling to explain, a satellite travelling at the same rotational speed of the earth is impossible.
