If it moved around the Earth it wouldnt stay above the same spot now would it.

If the earth rotates then it would wouldn't it?

So again

are you suggesting the earth doesn't rotate?

No why do you ask?

NO reason, just asking

The individual has stated the earth rotates. Therefor contradicting their own logic

Does the earth rotate about an axis every 24 hours?

Oh by all means Neutronflux, lead yourself down the path that got you owned 200 times before.

Yes, it rotates on an axis completing one full rotation in 24 hours, Neutronflux. Go ahead.

No it wouldnt. In order to stay above the same point on Earth it has to move through space and keep up with the surface. According to you people this equates to moving around the Earth. In order to move around Earth it would have to go faster or slower than that and it would not be geostationary.

Fps fellars, how hard is it to grasp basic physics.

Sheesh.

Geostationary orbits ultra-debunked.

Your moving the goal post.

So you do agree a geostationary satellite satellite orbits the circumference of the earth every 24 hours.

Logic? Individual?

I guess I could call my TV an individual, however it just seems to strange and requires too much imagination to say its an individual even though its a smart TV

Only if the machine is programmed with it then could it imitate human logic

Maybe all its been programmed with is definitions of words and a program to form sentences.

Hence why there is no logic and critical thought involved in any of their posts.

aye you say you have a grasp of it , but where is your evidence that proves geostationary orbits cant exist ?

We are still waiting patiently

some more so than others

but as yet , you have provided no evidence, its shocking that you say you understand physics , one of the core sciences
yet you cant understand its defining principles!

and that is in order to verify something yoiu need evidence !

Does a geostationary satellite have a curved trajectory?

Do they have a curved trajectory around Earth cause that is what all of you have been claiming the whole time.

By definition. A geostationary satellite has to complete one circle / eclipse every 24 hours to remain above the same spot on earth. Is that false. Which would be a orbital radius of 42,164.14 km.

Is that false

How else would something stay above the same spot of the curved surface of the earth as the earth rotates.

But geostationary satellites dont have a curved trajectory around the Earth.

In your case, virtually impossible, it seems.

Semantic twaddlery.

you have provided no evidence,

Besides the fact that something cant move relative to another object and at the same time not move relative to that same object.

No Carpy, they just dont go around the Earth. They are stationary in relation to the Earth.

It does have a curved trajectory to stay above the same spot. Is that false. It does have a curved trajectory around the earth’s circumference. Is that false. It does have a orbital radius of 42,164.14 km. is that false. It completes one travel of its orbit around the circumference of the earth every 24 hours. Is that false.

So it does not go around the Earth like you all have been claiming in every post I responded to?

You finally admit it? Now tell your friends they were all wrong the whole time. Go ahead.

Yes. It has an orbital radius and speed that results in orbiting the circumference of the earth once a day. It rotates about the earth’s axis which the surface rotates about. An origin point that is part of modeling movement.
